Excellent knives. Slightly more expensive but the cutters are of good quality. Easy to use and very smooth opening and closing. Bought as the article recommended them for trimming goat hooves. Easy to keep sharp and worked great. Also easily cuts thin metal and wire mesh. I'm going to get another one for my stepson's tool collection.

I have many types of scissors and Fiskars scissors. I was hoping this would replace a pair I ruined years ago. I'm not crazy about the little thing that slides in to close them. It's a bit misaligned and doesn't slide fully where it needs to be to secure them. Otherwise I think I'll be happy with them.

Not sure if it won't cut yet. , but it's high on the list of things I pay attention to. I have no doubt this will remove a badly placed finger. The blade latch on mine was a little finicky at first, a bit of lube got it in the right position and closes with no problem. No change required.
