Excellent initially, not for everyday use

We bought this about 7 months ago. There is usually a short circuit and if you don't hit the side of the light it won't burn. It was great at first but we use it almost every night for scorpion hunting and it's not designed for everyday use. Excellent at first glance, eats batteries like no other (recommended rechargeable). **Edit - Two years after I posted this review, the seller spams my email asking me to remove my "negative review". I really just want to downgrade to two stars for random…

SUPER bright, great for finding urine stains on carpets!

This little flashlight works GREAT! I used to use my old neon light to help me find urine stains. but this little led flashlight is much better! It is very compact and BRIGHT and the urine stains are bright neon green - urine is NOT to be confused with anything else. My kids love playing with it too - they think it's super cool that some things glow in the dark, and they also think it's fun to help me find clean spots on the carpet. This is a MUST HAVE for anyone with a new puppy, an older dog,

A scorpion hunting tool for every tourist!

I went camping in Havasupai for a week and wanted to be able to hunt scorpions. I am very happy that I bought this lamp. Its wavelength is perfect for hunting scorpions - in case you didn't know - they glow neon green against an (ultra) purple background. And since Havasupai is located at the base of Arizona's Grand Canyon, scorpions are everywhere at night. along hiking trails, in bathrooms and, I'm sure, in and around campgrounds. So I was very happy when I wandered around at night. And its…

Good for gel polish

I bought this for a gel manicure - I didn't want to buy a UV nail lamp because I wanted to focus on where the UV light was seeing and then someone on Watched YouTube Use this LED light. I used it the first time I applied gel to my nails and I had no burning or warm sensation and cured layers in about 60-90 seconds. Of course I used fairly thin coats of gel based base and top coat (base gel, regular nail polish, gel top coat) but I also tried drying a dab of gel polish on a paper towel and it…

Buy it for dog pee at Litter & Housebreaking

Works for dog pee. I could smell it but didn't see it. I was a bit hesitant due to some reviews saying it doesn't work with dog urine. I'm here to say yes it is! I'll share what I did to get the best results. Thanks to the amazing camera on my Samsung and a little light correction you can really see how it stands out. I did this on purpose because just using a phone camera UV light smudges photos and they don't render it properly. I haven't seen anyone post a photo of dog pee yet so here it is.

I would buy more now that I know how easy it is to fix the flickering.

I bought two of these for scorpion hunting, works great (scorpions) turn on neon lights even when batteries are low. However, I had problems with the flash flickering after a few uses. I shook it, slapped it and tapped it on a hard surface to get it to work but to no avail, it just stopped. So I removed the end of the LED and noticed that the LED board was loose. So I took a punch and a hammer and tapped the two holes in the aluminum ring and tightened them. Viola works great now! I would have…

Works better than expected! Ignore the bad reviews - it was great!

Works as advertised! Batteries are included so I was able to open the box and use it right away. Bought because I smelled pets in our basement den that we couldn't find. We turned off all the lights and scanned the floors for pet accidents, which we found several thanks to this light. They should be pretty close but I didn't press my nose to the ground or like someone here said they should - standing up I could shine my light around and see the pet's urine stains quite easily. It works best on…
