A bit more professional than the cheaper version.

The PRO45C doesn't seem to be much more professional than the cheaper version sold at Wally World. The new damper stopped my leak.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Good quality. on Rough Plumbing

Very high quality. although the rubber is stiffer and flushes faster stopping a full flush. I hope it loosens up over time. But I'm impressed with the quality.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Modernity

"Pro " version is worth it

Maybe I'm imagining it, but I found this "Pro" version of the Fluidmaster valve to be better than the regular version, which I have installed a couple of times. many years ago. This solved my noisy toilet problem. Very happy.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Great fill valve

I was able to purchase this for about half the price from Revain inventory and the unit I received was in a broken box with the accessories open. However, on my standard American toilet, the fill valve worked fine. The Pro version helped solve the hammering issue I had with the original valve.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I will add later

Fixed Water Hammer Problem

This valve solved my toilet water hammer problem. My water pressure is 60 psi. At first I tried partially closing the toilet fill line valve, but this resulted in a water noise coming out of the valve. I then tried using a water hammer on the fill line but that didn't work. Then I tried this filling valve and it solved my toilet water hammer problem. We still have some water hammer but it has been reduced to what we find acceptable. It took me about 15 minutes to install.

Pros
  • Niche Best
Cons
  • High Price

Slightly disappointed with this "professional " product

Filling valve appears to be a regular product. Time will tell about its reliability. However, the tank damper plug is a terrible, cheap, poorly performing part. It's so light and thin that it won't close the water drain until the tank is empty. The previous unit, which I believe was Kohler original, had a sturdy baffle plate with an adjustable float attached to the chain so the flush volume could be adjusted to ensure adequate flushing without as much water to waste like the current one.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Good product! in Rough Plumbing

I'm not a handyman but I was able to remove the broken fill valve and replace it with this one. It's been a few months and I haven't had any problems. It was somewhat easy to assemble. I confess I had to watch the YouTube video because I was a bit confused with the instructions. My water bill is lower because the fill valve doesn't leak or waste water. I'm also able to sleep better at night without hearing how the broken pad value 'works'. I rate this product very highly and will definitely…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Functionality

No experience with it, first time and I have to share that.

You need to shut off the water supply line to the toilet (usually the handle next to the toilet, closer to the floor outside the toilet) - then flush the toilet with a rag or a large amount of towel paper (or a small pump) remove a small amount of water left in the tank. You need to completely remove the top half of your toilet so take that first step so now go to your toilet and find the THREE screws that attach to the top of the toilet (tank) from the bowl. Make sure you have enough dexterity

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
