I have had no problems using these bags for food storage. They sealed lightly and kept their seal. I am happy with the price I paid. I've only had one bag puncture of spicy raw noodles so they are very puncture resistant but not puncture resistant. Overall very happy with my purchase.

The feeder has become a very useful part of our home. I brew beer and use this 11 inch roll to make pouches to store hops and grain in bulk. The roll allows you to create the right size packaging instead of wasting material on pre-cut packaging. Simply seal the end, cut to length, fill and seal the other end. Perfect. I always leave excess material to use some hops or grain and reseal the bag for later use.

This is a good food storage material. I use it almost exclusively with a submersible circulator and it works well for that purpose. I love that I can make my own bag size. So far I've had no problem with the bag not poking through the meat with the bones when sealing. This is a problem with some other bags. The only wish is that the edges of the bag should be printed with crop marks more often so that they can be cut straight more easily.

I use them to keep dog food fresh as I buy big bags of dog food which is very expensive food. This is my first experience and only about 20% of the bags I've made have lost their seal in 6 weeks which is way better than other methods I've tried. Will buy again as reviews of cheaper bags say they are thinner and don't work as well. Just thought - maybe it's my fault, maybe there was leftovers/dust from dog food at the sealing point? - This time around I'm pretty sure that won't be the case when…

I prefer to buy ready-made roll bags for my Foodsaver machine. I cut buns a few inches too long when storing food that needs sealing after taking out an item or two.
