Best so far Good for GPS, finders and accessories

I'm a trucker and this is my 3rd Garmin And it's definitely the best so far. With time, arrival time, distance to stops (etc.) at a glance and a smooth interface with my phone, trip planning becomes a breeze. Open Google Maps, find your destination on the map, switch to satellite view, put a pin in the customer's driveway and send it to Garmen.

    Looks impressive, if sometimes misleading!

This device has a sleek look and an impressive touchscreen. As for utility, I'm not sure of the data source for this device. It shows some roads as "SEMIS not allowed" while semis are allowed on those roads. And vice versa. A few (very few) streets where trucks are PROHIBITED or even unable to turn tight (smaller radius) turns, says GARMIN. It's sometimes misleading. Sometimes it can be handy to use in conjunction with Google. I wasn't overly impressed with the accuracy of the information and I

Better not worry about the trucking. GPS

It takes you to your destination in a roundabout way. You really need to improve the route when there is a low bridge with a 12ft marker at the side of the road. FALSE forces you to exit and divert, if you were on 3 lanes everything is fine. When connected to an app on your phone, it says the roads are closed, but they aren't. For some reason he won't let you drive a tractor trailer across the Whitestone Bridge, says trailers aren't allowed when he's not around. He also told me to exit the…

    OTR1000 compared to Dezl 780/785

I have the new OTR 1000 for about 10 days. Purchased through Loves for Points. The map detail is much better than my dezl 780. With the larger display I can see a lot more information as well as the map. With the 780 I had to use another app from Garmin on my phone, it was a one time fee of $4.99. With the OTR1000 they use another phone app to bring you traffic and weather data for free. The magnetic mount is bigger and stronger. In addition, a ball mount is included for using Ram Mount items…

Garmin OTR700 The best in GPS, finders and accessories

Very happy with this GPS. I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to. It's very convenient, easy to use while driving to find a parking space, etc. The mount sucks well and hasn't fallen off yet. seems accurate, but I compare routes using Google and Apple Maps, and GPS is present. Can't find anything I don't like about it, I've talked about getting a bigger size but I'm glad the 7" works great for me, don't see the point of spending $100 for bigger screens. The Speakers could be a bit louder…

By far the best GPS. Buy it no regrets.

I'm not a very good reviewer. I'm just a truck driver. To be honest, if you have any doubts about buying this GPS, don't stop. I've been watching some YouTube videos on this and Rand Mcnally's latest device. I bought it for Christmas 2020. It works great. Easy to use. The screen size is a big plus for me. Especially for people with older eyes. I encountered some pretty hard hits and the magnet still hasn't dropped the GPS. It's very strong. It's on the Google platform. This thing has so many…

The menu is not intuitive at all. The software urgently needs updates/upgrades. The speaker is terrible, the sound is hoarse. You are stuck with the voices on your device because the software update is not working again. Sure, the screen is huge, but the software is far from ready for release. I've been in contact with support since I bought it one item at a time. They told me to return it and when I did the same problems came up. I have to say the support is decent, but I've never had to…

    Mounts missing, Garmin box unsealed

Video attached to photos in product description, And at least one review clearly says it comes with a RAM compatible screw mount and mounts on suction cups. There were no mounts in my box other than a suction cup. The packaging also did NOT come with a tamper evident seal like every other Garmin I've purchased in the past. I am not satisfied with the missing components. I've already given away my old device and I'm leaving tomorrow morning. I'd probably be better off buying it direct from the…

    Terrible mounting bracket

I only used it for 3 short round trips so 6ft. It never stayed set longer than 10 miles. I have a suction cup phone that has worked for years, but this one has trouble staying in place for 10 minutes. Not sure why this one is so awful, maybe because it's really small for a 7 inch GPS? But the back of the GPS is configured so that only this mount "works". It's a round piece that goes into the back of the GPS, then a ball that pops out into a suction cup, it's the glass that fell off, then a very
