Works like the original

It turned out that heating elements were needed and this part is like the original. No installation problems, works great.

Works perfectly! on fridges, freezers and ice makers

This worked like a charm and brought my 20 year old fridge back to life. I figured it was time for a new one after replacing another part that didn't fix the problem. After this was installed the freezer worked again so I'm glad it saved the day.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers

Freeze timer for fridges, freezers and ice makers

Pros: Works and still works after several months. The previous Sears only lasted a year. Unfortunately it cost me 4 times as much and took over a week to get it. It fits together perfectly, just plug it in and it works. The seller was very quick and the price was great. I highly recommend them. Sorry for only four stars so far. I want it to last a year, then I'll give it five.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Still working 4 months after replacing

Our 1997 GE side-by-side fridge didn't keep food cold even though the freezer worked great. We evaluated new devices and read reviews and it turned out that new devices with computer circuit boards have a much higher failure rate within 3 years of purchase. Decided it was worth trying to fix ours. I watched some YouTube videos and replaced this part and heater about 4 months ago. So far no problems.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Only available in black

An exact copy of the original. Two screws, one dowel and you're done.

When I heard the terrible news that our fridge was getting warmer, the first thing I thought of was the defrost timer, which in my experience often fails. In contrast to the past, this is mounted in the fridge next to the lamp and not under the fridge as usual, where it is exposed to heat and dust. It turned out that the timer is working and the defrost heaters are broken. Having saved at least $35 buying it from Revain, I'm glad I have it as a spare. Eventually I'll probably need it. Got a new

So far so good in fridges

This timer seems to have solved our problem of our fridge not defrosting. What a problem. We defrosted the fridge ourselves several times before my husband bought this timer. A guy came in to fix it about a year ago and the classic car lasted exactly a year! I didn't want to pay the handyman another $250 to defrost my fridge again, so we got a timer and did it ourselves. All is well and it is a few months after purchase and my husband is setting the timer himself. My husband is a handyman, so I

Fits like a glove! - Refrigerators

My 14 year old GE Profile evaporative coil in the freezer froze and I found the defrost mechanism was not working at all. There are three components - this timer, the defrost thermostat and the defrost heater - and I wasn't sure if that was a bad thing, so I did all three. I got the thermostat locally just because it wasn't available here. If you want you can read my heater review. This timer was easy to replace and was exactly the same as the standard that came out. After replacing this and…
