Toyota/Lexus 3-3.5L V6? This is a must have

If you have a Toyota or Lexus V6 you NEED this key. This makes removing/installing the rear end caps, especially the left rear and center end caps, just awkward, not impossible. I've been building a collection of tools, mostly for the automotive industry, for over 35 years. This lengthening means you can remove the two rear end caps, which are nearly impossible to access without removing one of the air intakes. Oh, you have to unscrew the cruise control cable and bracket, but instead of…

Definitely buy this for the 5.7 liter Hemi

Everyone on the internet has been talking about how difficult it is to change the spark plugs on a Ram 1500 with a 5.7 liter to change hemis. This tool made it easy. It's the perfect length and angle to slide where it needs to. If you don't have a 10mm socket and short 10mm wrench, get those too. The hardest part is getting to the passenger side. Spread the heater hoses apart a little and lower this tool into the hole, then install the socket wrench. The second one from the driver's side…

Great Quality - Toyota Tundra 5.7L

I bought this to replace the spark plugs on my Toyota Tundra 5.7L engine. The pivot was just what I needed to get into a few tight spots. The base and extension almost match the depth of the spark plug, so with the extra extensions (3" or 6" depending on spacing) everything worked perfectly. The magnetic socket holds the spark plugs very firmly, but also releases them easily. Much better than the old rubber grommet inner bushing. The swivel joint was sufficient to insert and remove the plugs at

Buy this key, change the candles and treat yourself!

What?! Does my local service center charge $165 for spark plug replacement? $80 for parts?!, plus labor, plus duties, plus taxes?! Since when are spark plugs $20 a piece? No thanks, I'll do it myself (I think). Just take a look. Revain set of 4 NGKs for $34. Even that seems expensive. Ebay $18 is better. Do I have a spark plug? Oh yeah, that little padded thing I haven't used in 20 years. Oh that's right; it's a pain in the ass. That's why I don't do it myself anymore. Check out YouTube to find

Exactly what I needed the best in Tools & Equipment

I have a couple of "regular" sockets with rubber inserts. I didn't even know this magnetic guy existed until I saw him in a YouTube video. This works SOOOOOOO much better. The short swivel extension gives enough room to reach the head of my Toyota Avalon. The top of the extension was almost flush with the valve cover when the plug was fully screwed in. I had to add a short extension and my socket wrench to complete the last 1/2 turn to seat them. The magnet was strong enough to hold the…

Perfect fit for 5.7 HEMI spark plugs

Changed spark plugs for the first time on my 2014 Ram 5.7 Hemi. Not without this tool. It maneuvers exactly how you want it and the magnet fits perfectly and helps with retrieval. A NOTICE. When removing the spark plugs, insert this connector into the chamber and twist by hand until it clicks into place. THEN attach an extension or ratchet (some cylinders require an extension, cylinders further back do not) and remove. After it has disengaged, you can remove the ratchet and pry the connector…

Best Spark Plug Socket Under $15 - Fits BMW N52 e93 (2010 BMW 328i)

**********All BMW 328i users, this socket will fit your engine* *** * *****The rocker arm function is a must when removing/installing spark plugs - offers a lot of flexibility. I wouldn't have thought it was an important feature when I bought it, but because it wobbles it's a plus and offers more space at the top where space is limited. Everyone knows the advantage of the magnetic function of this socket when removing the candles, another advantage is the installation of spark plugs. Install a…

Works as advertised - Star of my show 2005 Silverado 5.3L

Star of the show. My 2005 5.3L Silverado engine only needed a plug/wire change as the factory engines were only rated for 100,000 miles and mine is 164,000 miles. They went well, but I didn't know what I was getting myself into. It was mentioned in a review so I took a look. The magnet does a really good job, especially when it's 32 degrees outside like this morning. I warmed up the truck so the exhaust manifold was about 200 degrees. It took me a while to remove the spark plugs and put new…
