Good value for money, best calibers

Seems to be a very reliable block to work with my chainsaws. The probe works by disconnecting the spark plug wire or a few feet away during tuning. The refresh rate is quite decent compared to cheaper devices.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons

Good for the purpose I'm using

Is that true? Possibly, but to be honest there are many options depending on where you place the sensor, but that is the nature of this type of induction tester. Solid build and a solid price, so I'm not complaining at all. happy to have it

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Volume

Smartish Tach is good for Tachometer

It seems to work fine. Easy to use. I was kind of expecting to solve my car problem and find more uses for it, but. it really didn't work that way. That's a lot of money for limited functionality. It's been a while since I've used it, believe me, it only works on DC, it makes sense. But it can also be the other way around.

. A job that doesn't jiggle with useless readings like the $20 smut on ebay

I needed a quality tool for my shop job that didn't jiggle with useless readings like the cheap $20 stuff at ebay. Very impressed with the difference, large LED display and it's own hard case. Worth the money if you want a reliable, readable tachometer. Love it!

Pros
  • One year trial

Simple and effective

I have been using this tachometer for about two years now for work on my car, truck and to fine tune the carburetor on a small fleet of chainsaws. Pros: Super simple user interface. Easy to read, easy to use. Wireless makes it easy to check ignition on small engines without having to dig up good contact points. The transducer neck is rigid and stays where you place it. - Durable and suitable for quick dyno/garage testing.

Cons
  • Available in black only

This analyzer worked great for me.

Used to install the timing on a Honda VTX motorcycle. I've used it from about 2 feet away and also checked by placing the tip on the connector's wire. It worked great. I plan to use it on all my machines. Much more convenient than my old cheap analog touch with alligator clips. I'm happy with that. Make sure you understand the shutdown procedure as I drained the batteries that way (my mistake).

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Quick Guide

The perfect tool for generator technicians

I work on many single cylinder 4 stroke inverter generators and know that engine RPM and spark strength are invaluable tools and this Canadian product is perfect for getting the numbers I need. I also live in a mountain community where the crappy Subaru drives with a million trouble codes, so scanning is useless, but figuring out which plug isn't receiving a signal certainly takes a lot of guesswork.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Error

Expensive but good tachometer!

I use this tachometer primarily for testing and repairing small engines (2 and 4 stroke) when my optical tachometer is not practical. I've used it a few times on V6 car engines. It worked well in all cases. I also found it significantly more accurate than other similarly designed devices. In fact, I returned a much cheaper model from another manufacturer due to unstable and inaccurate readings. So far the TA100 seems to be inaccurate and the kV peak voltage function can provide some information

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some problems

this thing is amazing. Now I can adjust idle and propeller/fuel.

I work part time for family and friends on scooters, quads and road bikes. As far as I know, this thing is amazing. Now I can adjust the idle and propeller/air/fuel mixture without using a wire and wrapping it around the spark plug wire to get an RPM reading. Seriously, whoever designed this thing, please let me buy you 12 packs! Now, with that said, my neighbor has a 2005 GSXR-600. I'll find out soon if I can fix every single cylinder spark. The GSXR-600 has coil packs. So I'll definitely take

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
