Authentic Honda 08798-9013 Silicone Lubricant Review

I have a 1999 Mazda MX 5 Convertible. This material is unique. They massage the rubber seals of the doors, windows and roof a little and after 24 hours they expand and become soft and supple again, like new. They then isolate road and wind noise much better. One bath is enough for a whole car life. Saves a fortune over the cost of replacing the rubber seals themselves.

Excellent material. I have a 2012 Honda Crosstour with 105,000 miles on it. I like it, but it creaked in places. He has a huge tailgate. The first thing I did was apply this grease to the seal around the tailgate. The scripts are gone! Quiet like a new car. I have since applied it to all door seals. It may be imagination but I think the wind noise is also less as if the gaskets seal better. A tube is a lifetime supply for home use.

Apply a light coat of lube to my car door's rubber seal (which made an unacceptable noise when brand new and I don't think the dealer helped much) and it's gone ! Works wonders. I'm sure others have said this before, but: Clean the rubber seal first, then work gently around the rubber seal while wearing rubber/nitrile gloves. Wipe/spread excess lubricant from surface. Be careful not to get it on the paint. A little really goes a long way. Much luck!

Used this to fix some roof seals on my 2003 Honda S2003. I'm happy to report that the seals are communicating much better now. I used this lube on all the rubber seals on my 2012 Honda Fit. I recommend using disposable latex gloves. Apply this lubricant sparingly. This stuff goes a long, long way. Rub all doors, trunk, bonnet with grease. The seals look like new and should swell slightly overnight. You can actually tell it by the increased distance between the seal folds. I bought this to use on my Miata window rails. The windows went up and down very slowly.
