Impressive product on Computers and Accessories

Good product and works very well. You can't go wrong with this non-AC powered PoE switch. Save time pulling cable for each camera, all you need is one channel from another poe switch, and all 4 cameras can be connected to it, reducing long distances. power from this device. Impressive product.

  • This is amazing

Stable, supplies 2 POE cameras without loss of resolution

Lifesaver for splitting the POE stream over 2 cameras and above all without loss of resolution. Before that I tried a cheaper one that was unstable and reduced the resolution a bit.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Very expensive

POE RATED POWER PER PORT

The devices I have purchased will work in the application I will be using them for. I assume the 30 watts listed is actually 15 watts per RJ45 connection. I would like to know if the manufacturer has other devices with higher power, up to t0 48W. Some high-resolution cameras require that much power, especially if they are PZT type.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Capable

The best PoE PD switch out there

If you're like me (and you're actually reading this review) then you've probably done some research to find a good PoE PD to find switch. What is a PoE PD switch? Power over Ethernet means that the switch is powered via the Ethernet input cable. This device is supplied without a power supply. It needs to be powered from an incoming PoE Ethernet port through another switch or a PoE power injector (not included). I just built a new house. The contractor ran CAT6 cables everywhere (I thought CAT6A

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Good quality, works like clockwork

Need an ethernet connection to a remote networked device on my panel but didn't want to add a separate circuit and 120V outlet to power a standard network switch . I have this and it was powered by my Juniper EX3300-48P switch from a nearby ethernet pass with no problems. Seems a bit pricey for what it is, but overall it was cheaper and faster than the other options for my scenario.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Works with four 4K cameras (8MP) over a single ethernet cable

I have connected my LaView 8MP cameras to a LaView NVR using one camera per ethernet cable. But I have a place that requires full 360 degree coverage but there is only one cable. So I set up 4 cameras with unique IP addresses and connected them to a 4-in-1 POE Ethernet extender. I then connected an ethernet cable by plugging the other end from the dedicated ethernet port on my DVR to my Netgear smart switch, which offers multiple 30W POE ports (my DVR also connects to the same Netgear switchโ€ฆ
