STOP WORKING best in external SSDs

About a year later the HDD completely stopped working. I suspect something is wrong with the USB port but no one has replied to me, the serial number has been completely erased so now there is a way to get help from the company itself and I'm stuck with $300. piece of trash.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Exchange availability

After almost two years it NEVER works!

After almost 2 years of buying I still can't use it because I can't FORMAT it for use on Windows 10 They NEVER gave me didn't work! Why did someone make something, that is so hard to use?😳☹️ Can the seller of this product provide the correct step-by-step instructions to format it for use in Windows 10?More

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

Losing indexes, disconnecting from your computer, what's not to hate?

I'm a digital artist so I load and unload a lot of data from a drive like this and one of the things I noticed early on was that it wasn't indexed properly and although the program I'm using I could see files, Windows couldn't. Then I noticed that although both connections are strong, the laptop I'm using keeps dropping connection making it completely unreliable and very frustrating. I will try to return.

Pros
  • Hard wearing surface
Cons
  • Almost never

IT'S FAST (tested)

Bought the 2TB version during the Black Friday sale for $429, which is a STEAL considering it was $800 a few months ago ($629 now). First, let me say that this SSD is VERY FAST. 2016 15" MacBook Pro. On the Black Magic Disk speed test, I get 833 MB/s writing and 880 MB/s reading. ....45GB/52s is 0.865 (GB/s), which makes sense because it's 865 (MB /s) which is even faster than the 833 (MB/s) write speed I got in the Black Magic Speed Test Disk It's just crazy This drive transfers 86.5% of 1GB…

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • The list will be long.

THIS IS FAST (Verified)

Bought the 2TB version during the Black Friday sale for $429 which is a STEAL considering it was $800 a few months ago (now $629 $) has cost. I'll start with what I'm going to say. that this SSD is INCREDIBLY FAST. I'm using it with a 2016 15" MacBook Pro. On the Black Magic Disk speed test, I get 833MB/s writing and 880MB/s reading. I have a 45GB Final Cut Pro library file from the internal SSD transferred my MBP to it., and it took 52 seconds.Counting backwards...45GB/52 seconds equals…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative impression

Absolutely the fastest on the market

This CD is fantastic. It's currently the fastest portable SSD money can buy. To get the full benefit, you must be using a computer with enough bus bandwidth to push the drive to its limit. Right now the only thing that can get full speed from this drive is my MacBook Pro. Just to give people an idea of how fast this drive is. I did a full backup of my MacBook Pro to this 750GB drive in just 20 minutes. The drive did get warm during this time, but I wouldn't say it was as hot as some of the…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Glyph Tech is an amazing group of people with great values. I had a small problem reformatting a Glyph Atom 1GB for my Microsoft SurfacePro. I called Glyph (it was Friday office hours). I have a person within 3 minutes. Plus he knew what he was talking about and resolved my issue in 5 minutes, waited until I was satisfied everything was cool and exceptionally competent and pleasant. It's amazing these days to be able to call support and get something more than a robot or offshore company to…

Pros
  • High Scores for Support and Longevity from Testers
Cons
  • Not as Many as Other Recommendations
