Grasp Prestige Blue 3

I absolutely love this combination of needles and cartridge. I used an old mid-range Ortofon cartridge. It really makes the music jump out of the player. I could never tell much of a difference between the cartridges prior to this exchange. I would recommend this to anyone who has a player that you can set up yourself.

Inexpensive, made in the USA

Inexpensive, made in the USA, this is the best cartridge I currently own. Good highs I hooked up a small subwoofer to my system just to add some extra bass when needed. This is a very powerful cartridge so it can be a bit noisy at times, rainy nights, humid air, but overall a fantastic sound.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Hard to say

Cartridge buyers looking for true audiophile quality. Examine BLUE3.

I've had a lot of cough-cough-expensive pickups. I bought it as it was close to my 2020 budget. By far the best, most musical and most impressive pickup I have ever owned. To be honest, I would be very happy if I paid $100 more than the current price of $125. Don't take my word for it; The order is placed through Revain. If you don't like it, 100% refund. Thank you Grado I'm so happy!

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, it's just good

By far the best - accessories

I bought the AT LP120XUSB for budget reasons. I was not happy with the AT VMN95E cartridge that came with the kit. I also found that the built in preamp and the preamp on my AV receiver are not that great. I replaced the preamp with a Parasound Zphono USB preamp and it made a world of difference. But something is still missing, I bought an AT-VMN95Sh cartridge. However, an improvement. So I bought Ortofon 2m Blue. Another improvement, but still not joyful. Then I bought a Grado Prestige Blue3…

The Nuts Drove Me Nuts

I have 3 sets of Grado headphones as they sound great to me. I needed a new cartridge for my Thorens TD-170 turntable and of course I wanted a Grado. The problem is that it's very difficult to fit a standard pickup to a Thorens arm that doesn't have a detachable headshell. Very small screws and even smaller nuts must be used. I tried many times before I gave up. Grado was great when it came to helping and I will be buying more Grado products in the future. However, I send this cartridge back…

Sounds good! The support is terrible!

I have been using Grado cartridges for over 40 years. The sound is unbeatable for the price. But unfortunately the seller (Rich Grado) doesn't know anything about the product he is selling. I was thinking about switching from the blue one I bought to the gold one. But Rich Grado couldn't give me a reason why I should do it. Oh, and in terms of installation, I had a bit of trouble because the screws that came with it didn't fit my Garrard Zero 100. When I contacted Grado they basically said they

The music sounds better than you remember!

Music lovers know how a song can take you back through time and space, back to time and feelings. This Grado is ready to do it for you. And that old song sounds BETTER than you remember! I bought a Grado Black P mount. DO NOT rate this cartridge right out of the box. It takes about 20-30 hours of gameplay to relax. The bass still sounds weak. The mids can be a bit ahead. But wait, because as soon as he opens up, he *really* sings. Dynamic, punchy bass with a subtle hint of bloom that brings…
