Not a strong magnet.

No returns due to hassle. I have one with a strong magnet but it doesn't work for some applications where you want a short regular size.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Lots of items

works for me c Spark plugs and ignition tools

These are superior to the rubber insert version. In my experience the rubber adhesive will dry out and the insert will fall out. The pad dries out over time. I have multiple outlets.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Empty

poor quality at Tools & Hardware

I changed the spark plugs on my daughter's car, everything goes well, next time I wanted to use the 5/8 head in the first spark plug, the magnet and the plastic holder came out, long story short, I lost my magnet.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not everything fits

These things are great!

Love these things. I usually just use grommet bushings, but I'm fed up with dielectric grease getting into the bushing. My backup vacuum hose was gone so I decided to grab a magnet kit. I wish the magnet was a little stronger but they definitely do the job.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

A cheap version of a much needed tool! Find the best brand.

Packaging and everything looked fine and when I first used the 3/8" socket it worked great to replace my spark plugs. I was so glad I bought her another car and found the magnet installed in the socket came out and I had no idea where it went! The socket looked good and was well made but apparently the quality of this set is very suspicious! I know a cheap price can be tempting, but this IS a prime example of "You get what you pay for!" Of course, if you need a tool to do ONE job or TWO, this…

Good spark plug heads Magnatic

Bought these to make changing spark plugs on my cars easier. The magnet will hold the spark plug in place when you remove it from the spark plug well or other hard-to-reach place, and will also hold it in place when you replace the spark plugs. Used it today on my 2003 Honda CRV with deep spark plug holes. Kept the plugs securely in the socket when removing the plugs and held them securely in place as I lowered the plug into the well and began threading. Last time I did it I used the old heater

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Full customization of tools and equipment

What do you do? They remove the old parts, remove the old spark plugs, install new spark plugs, and then reinstall the old spark plugs into the car. The same effort is required to reinstall all new parts. coil over spark plug. ignition coil packs. ignition cable. Everything should be clean with new candles. The only argument against it is that you're trying to save money. But you don't really save. These are all old parts, they are worn out and will fail sooner or later. Those old 100,000 mile…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Quality

This GreatNeck magnetic spark plug head is the same as KD Tools/GearWrench heads; a magnetic piece inserted deep into the socket and a magnetic hole, a very small, difficult to insert socket over the spark plug tip/nipple during removal of spark plugs that are deep in the engine head of a Ford Triton engine head. Also, the magnetic inner top bushing is small and loosely holds the spark plug at the tip rather than the base. BikeMaster magnetic socket; They build their magnet part near the bottom

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Volume
