Great function and style!

Our 18 year old son bought it for hiking after a lot of research. And after several trips, he is 100% satisfied with his choice. He's 6ft 2in tall with a lean, athletic build and this backpack suits him perfectly. I love the color (something like burnt orange) - the pictures on the internet don't do it justice. Great package!

Pros
  • Still satisfied

Fantastic bag in the backpacks, bags and accessories section

Nothing more to say, absolutely fantastic travel backpack. come back to it. Revain simply had the best price! Be sure to adjust the length of the shoulder straps, there are small hooks you can use to make them longer or shorter. This bag does an excellent job of taking the weight off your shoulders and transferring it to your hips if you pack it right!

Pros
  • Great choice
Cons
  • Good but not great

Top quality backpack year after year

One of the best 65 liter backpacks. Having worked in outdoor sales and spent countless weeks hiking, the comfort, design and quality of this backpack is amazing. In sales I would ask people to try last because the difference was so big. The waist belt is one of the softest and most comfortable. The easy access features added compared to Zulu will pay off for the long term investment.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

Solid backpack: backpacks, bags and accessories

I am satisfied with the fit and finish of this backpack. I would have liked more fanny packs. Carries properly sized loads well and I have never felt so organized with the multiple pockets on the outside of this backpack. I also like the tactical look of this backpack. I didn't like that almost all of the compression straps had to be undone to access the front U-shaped main compartment access. Small complaint. Treated me great with tent/bag/mat/water/stove etc on my first 25 mile hike. I'm glad

Absolute favourite! suitable for camping and hiking

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it. I had to resize. He is 5ft 11in, 190lbs and wide. First I bought him a big one but we traded him for a medium one. We originally had navy blue but medium didn't have it so we went with orange. The orange isn't bright orange like it looks in the pictures, it's rusty and very pretty. He personally liked it better. It's very light, lots of room, the waist belt is perfect for a camera phone etc. It's definitely a Ferrari of…

Couldn't fit!

I didn't like the convenience of this pack. I've had many packs of different sizes and this one was just plain bad. I measured the torso and found the right size. On a couple of short hikes of 30-40 pounds I was constantly adjusting everything walking, boarding and every combination I could think of. I could not pinch my left thigh or pull on my right shoulder. The whole pack seemed to bend down and pull me to one side. The weight inside the backpack was fairly evenly distributed. I've searched

Pivot frame and weight distribution Issue

The unique heavy-duty wishbone frame distributes weight in the lower lumbar region, which has proven to be a major issue for my relatively aged lower back. For older hikers with aging rims, I only recommend frames that distribute the weight across your hips. The backpack is also a bit heavy which adds to this problem. The included lumbar pillow really helps if the back is generally properly adjusted. This extra weight is in part due to the wonderful array of zippered access flaps that greatly…

Wasn't that new?!?: Camping & Hiking

The item I received was in good condition, like new. But the main compartment had old crusty backpacker grub, a heavily used lighter in a hipbelt pocket, and plenty of dry leaf bits in a water bottle holder, and a couple of small zipped compartments. There was also very little wear on the back of the pad. I paid for a new bag, not sure why I got a used one even if it was marginal. The packaging itself looks good to me. I obtained an average and then adjusted for a larger configuration. I'm 6ft…

This pack is amazing! for hiking backpacks

I recently used my new Baltoro 65 on a two day backpacking trip up narrow rocky trails. There's probably not enough space here to mention all the really great things about this set. Countless little features that can take days to learn. Plenty of zip openings on all levels of the backpack so you can go anywhere and grab everything you need without having to take things out. With different straps and load adjustments, you can adjust the load distribution and adapt perfectly to your body. A…
