Vinyl siding repair

I had a few holes in my vinyl siding. I didn't want to replace the whole piece because it's not very easy, but with these patches I can patch it instead of having to replace the whole piece, and I can paint it to match my other side panel that's just too install is

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • High price

Ideal for vinyl siding repairs

I have used this vinyl siding repair kit on all parts of my house that have vinyl walls and then painted the patches to match the house. You can't even tell there's a patch there. There are 12 large patches covering multiple holes and you simply trim them to the size you want. They worked really great.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Fairing Repair - Fairing

Great product. Easy to use. I painted first. Because the siding is sun colored it's a little different, but that was me because I didn't have any faded siding to accept. It was an original part. No one would have noticed if I hadn't pointed it out. Got more places to do so you know how MN holds up winter and fall.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Definitely recommend

We don't currently have the funds to replace the faulty siding so this was the perfect solution for now. Super easy to remove and apply the backing, no bubbles or anything, it sticks quickly and very well. We used Valspar Duramax high coverage paint + all weather adhesion primer in ultra white flat outside after touch up.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Updates

Covers and protects

I had a 1 inch hole from being hit by a branch. This does the job of closing the hole and keeping rain and bugs out. I took a small piece of siding to a paint shop where they mixed 4 ounces of paint. I drew a dot and it's almost invisible. It's been up for a few months now and is holding up well.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Something different

Let's see how it holds up. Good patch so far

I guess one of my kids hit the house with a soccer ball and left a decent hole in the siding. Instead of messing around with cutting and undoing the siding, I decided to try a patch. I filled the hole with styrofoam and took the piece of broken fairing to Lowe's to have the body color matched. This is not an ideal solution. But it's better than it was and should buy us a little more time before we have to implement a permanent fix.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Some flaws

It really works! for Building Materials

I was skeptical about this product at first but it worked well. I had a few broken parts while walking around the house looking for a temporary fix until they could be fixed. I took the broken piece of siding to Laws for color matching. After masking off the tears and holes I put two coats of paint on top, stepped back a few feet and it was hard to tell where the repair was. So far it has survived the hot summer months and still looks great. Now I can postpone the overhaul a little longer.

Pros
  • Build Quality
Cons
  • Modern

Worked great. in Shell Materials

I had a golf ball sized hail hole in my vinyl siding and a few small repairs around the house. It really helped. I probably should have placed it so that the top edge is protected by the overhang from the fairing above, but hopefully my rookie mistake will be okay. I got a small sample of matching satin exterior paint from the store and the repair isn't obvious unless you're looking straight at it. The decal is a little thinner than I would have liked, but if you made it thicker you'd give upโ€ฆ

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Protection

Looks way better!

I had holes in my vinyl siding from a ripped mailbox and debris my lawn mower threw in and through the siding. I'm not a handyman, but I can't afford to pay for it. I painted some parts first and some after just to see what comes out best. I found it was probably easier to paint them afterward, but I wasn't sure how well my paint would match. I brought Lowe a piece of my sun-bleached facade and asked him to color match it. I posted before and after photos. I know you can name the worst spotsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
