Great little emulator

This is one of many Chinese handsets on the market from Abernic. It's also one of my favorites. It can play PlayStation 1 games without any problems. The Dingux system they use for games is quite reliable. Comes with a 64GB SD card ready to be filled with backups! love the little guy

  • Solid build

Great for your pocket: plug and play video games

The perfect device for on the go. Neither n64 nor psp work, but ps1 and below play fine. Playing the Final Fantasy series on this device is really awesome just like any other square RPG. Definitely worth the portable gaming price tag. If you're looking for more power check out the Retroid Pocket 2+, it can emulate up to Gamecube and PS2 for $100.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Useless features

Cute little plug and play video game device

I like this device so far. Came with a million games preinstalled which I got rid of and put in a 256GB card with MY chosen roms. I use this item every day. I can get about six and a half hours of direct play. I already have disc 2 of Final Fantasy IX lol. If you are definitely looking for a pocket emulator for PlayStation 1 and higher, then this is it!

An amazing system that has EVERYTHING you need!

Amazing product. I have no idea what the negative reviews are about. It works great, comes with EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING INDIVIDUALLY. Battery life is great so far, but I'm not currently using it on the highest settings. The trigger position is perfect for me, not awkward at all. highly recommend this product. This is great quality construction, not cheap construction. Take it. You won't regret it once you know how to view files.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

The overall product feels nice

My first experience after a day's work: nice hardware, great performance considering the details and the form factor. Seeing PS1 games run smoothly on a laptop is really awesome! The main complaints are that the operating system itself is a bit disappointing, the lack of an obvious search or the ability to easily set up a quick launch for your favorite games is far from ideal. I've found a stuck pixel on mine, but it's usually very difficult to see on anything other than a monochrome screen…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Essential for 90's kids

I still can't believe how well this thing works. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical, too good to be true. I lost my Gameboy Color a few years ago and was thinking of getting another one, then out of nowhere I found this article. If you're a 90's kid looking to quit and kill time like it used to be, this is 100% for you. I chose this model over the joystick models as it reminds me more of my old Gameboy, which I don't regret. Just in time for the holidays and much needed free time. Oh, it was

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Great device (if you can stand the OS)

Very comfortable to hold, although sometimes you have to press the buttons on the shoulder. Great build quality (which is to be expected from Anbernic), great screen, solid, aesthetic. My only criticism of the device is how old the chipset/software is. I'm not a fan of OpenDingux and even after upgrading to beta it just can't compete with many more modern handhelds and lacks many of the features that they offer. If you just want something simple and portable, don't care about things like…

Great performance but beware of the porn!

This is an Anbernic 280V and a great retro emulator! It's well built and has a decent battery for what it does (I spent about 5 hours playing a PS1 game). It works almost perfectly with PCE, NES, SNES, GB/GBC, GBA, Genesis, GameGear, Wonderswan all out of the box! (You can also play PS games, but the lack of analog sticks makes some games impractical. If that's your jam, grab an Anbernic 350 or 351 instead.) There's no HDMI output, but that's a feature of the Anbernic 350. It's super portable…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some nuances

Great device with a few minor flaws.

This is a good portable laptop computer. It looks very small in the photos, and it is, so I was afraid it would be uncomfortable to play with. Most of the time I play is around 20 minutes while waiting in the car and I have never felt uncomfortable playing. I was also concerned about the placement of those shoulder buttons, and that concern was somewhat valid. While your fingers rest well on the same l1 and r1, the l2 and r2 buttons are very difficult to reach to the point where I really don't…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not bad
