    Too loose under dresses

    I love the shorts my daughters wear under dresses to keep her panties from showing through. But they are too loose and her panties are showing underneath. I'm back and I'm still buying "biking shorts" from target.

    Oversized shorts one size smaller

    Good shorts but too big. The size is large, like a women's 5. They would have been great for my daughter's volleyball shorts but we ordered twice and they were still too big for her. She carries girls 8-10 but the average size was still too big for her.

    Shorts NOT BB!: Active shorts

    We are talking about basketball jerseys, but they are far from basketball shorts, they are short shorts, they are nice and thick, and the belt is very nice and thick, they are true to size, but they are more like shorts Girls would definitely not wear basketball shorts under skirts or dresses!

    They are not what I had in mind and sizes.

    This is not what I had in mind and the size is too big. I bought a size 7/8 for my 7 year old daughter and they are too big for her. They are also great for my slim 10 year old. I assume they will shrink. There are more loose-fitting activewear than skinny biker underwear shorts.

    Just Right best in Girls

    I ordered a medium size 7/8 for my 12 year old girl who is tall (5ft 1in) and skinny (103lbs). It fit her well on all sides and was perfect at the waist. I think if I had a big one it would be too big for her. I won't dry them because I'm sure they will shrink and then she won't be able to put them on at all because they are already short and sitting on her.

    Reduced size for small children

    I have a little eight year old who needs volleyball shorts. She weighs around 50 pounds but usually wears shorts and cropped pants quite comfortably. After reading reviews saying they are big, I bought the XS shorts for volleyball games. They fit almost perfectly. They are snug throughout, just like volleyball shorts should be, except there is some room at the bottom of the legs, but nothing too flashy or weird. They are perfect for what we need for volleyball games. small or very thin child

    These shorts are oversized

    While these shorts appear to be worth the price and quality, the sizing chart is completely wrong. I referred to this when purchasing for my daughters and measured both to ensure I ordered the correct size. When they arrived they were much larger than the size chart. This is a general size chart, not related to any specific product. Both of my daughters have a 27 inch waist, but a large (maybe even medium) would be a much better choice. These shorts wouldn't even fit on my girls.

    Bought these for my daughter to wear under her premium uniform dress. She's on the spectrum and not so good with tight dresses at the moment, and she's now losing the biker shorts that were meant to be worn under skirts and dresses that she used to wear with no problem. That's great, but as for the other commenters, I can see how regular shorts can be considered short, especially if your child has long legs.
