Flea collars made my cats sick

Bought 3 and got 2 sick cats from them. Cough, sneeze, tears, stopped eating and drinking. Within 24 hours of removal, both cats were doing well. They give off a very strong odor, I'm sure a person wouldn't want to walk around 24/7 with a bag of potpourri around their neck, I don't understand why people would think a cat would do that.

Be aware as others have shown this can irritate your cats.

Be careful when using this product. It can damage and irritate some cats' skin. After removing it, we noticed hair loss around our cat's neck, right where the collar was. It is partly my fault for not reading this product before purchasing it. I was looking for something affordable to treat cats but this was a mistake.

ATTENTION! My poor cat!

I put this collar on my 5 month old cat that I adopted last week. Immediately began to walk around the house, uncomfortable. At first I didn't care too much about it since he hadn't worn a collar before, but then I saw him fervently shaking his head and drooling uncontrollably. I panicked! I had never seen a cat do this before, so I quickly took her to the sink and rinsed the area around her mouth. I took it off and threw it away. I will NEVER use this product again. * My baby is fine now and I

Dangerous to use, carcinogenic to humans and animals

"These chemicals are very dangerous to animals and humans and can damage the brain and nervous system and cause cancer. The residues produced by some flea collars are so high that they pose up to 1,000 times the risk of developing cancer and damage to the nervous system in children than acceptable EPA levels.” The above was cited by NRDC.org. I wish Revain would at least warn about these products or at least list the ingredient in the description to prevent unnecessary returns or worse the…

Does what it's supposed to do safely (as long as it's not abused)

My indoor/outdoor cat hasn't had fleas since I put the collar on (making sure to keep them as free and as free as possible). is nevertheless safe). If the collar is too tight and this insecticide only presses on the bare skin, they can become very dangerous, they can develop a rash/hair loss or ingest most of the insecticide percutaneously, which quickly leads to many complications, including death . I took the time to write this after seeing so many horror stories in the reviews here and then…

Decent product at a good price

Decent product. The last flea collar I bought was the Zodiac brand, it was very tough and smelled awful, and this one didn't smell that bad and was easy to put on. Our cat had lost control of time and doesn't mind wearing this at all. You can also attach an identification tag to the plastic part before attaching it. ALSO: I think this needs to be mentioned due to product reviews. Someone said they gave this to their 5 week old cat and she got sick. This is for cats 12 weeks and older. Another…

Cat Death Solution and Collar Utility

So I decided to write this because buyers are hesitant and giving a warning. Can your cat react negatively / get a chemical burn to a collar? Yes, so you should keep a close eye on them after you put them on. Is it efficient? Yes and no, he can react differently depending on the situation. It is a repellent but does not guarantee flea repellency. Some fleas don't care. Its effectiveness is 50/50. If you have a flea infestation and expect it to do the hard work, you are wrong. Will Your Cat Die…
