Great for our dog with IBD.

Our Goldendoodle VZK. We give her a quarter of these bars 2 times a week and it helps her quality food to maintain gut health and normal bowel movements. This was a game changer for us!

    Pros
    • STOP FOLLOWING THE WAYS. You walk into the living room and see Buddy drag his butt across the carpet. They exchange startled looks. When your pet's anal sacs aren't pumped, they become clogged and congested, leading to itchy and painful symptoms. The dogs run away and try to relieve her. When you pump your anal glands (releasing solids) you no longer have a rabid dog!

Ideal for dogs recovering from Giardia.

Pure natural product. Herbsmith is a great company. Dogs find it delicious. It's easy to feed and great for regulating bowel movements and healing the gut. Also contains natural antiparasitic agents. Yes, it's a little pricey, but it really works. Highly recommended.

    Pros
    • PROACTIVE CARE PAYS FOR – Digestive issues affect every aspect of a dog's life, but you can take proactive steps to ensure occasional stomach problems don't become recurring issues. The easiest way to do this is to give your pet a digestive aid like Scooter's Butt Bars. Not only is this a preventative measure, it also keeps his intestines and anal glands healthy and aids digestion in general.

    • Available in white only.

Solid as a rock! - Digestives

You're rock solid. I had to cut it with a giant knife. I called Herbsmith and she said they shouldn't be that complicated. So instead of sending me a 3 (stay a customer), she wants me to go back to Revain. Not worth the trouble. I will not buy from them again. My dog had chewing problems and gave up.

    Pros
    • PERFECT FOR DOGS OF ALL AGES AND SIZES - Big dogs, small, small and large, puppies and older dogs all poop. And eventually it won't be easy, or they won't stop and you'll have to clean the carpet (sorry!), but that's where Scooter Butts can help! These high-fiber bars help strengthen bowel movements so bad moments are few and far between.

I ordered for small dogs but received a bar for large dogs

My dog loves this product. I buy it as a supplement, not because my dog has digestive issues. I gave 2 stars only because I reordered a small dog sized box and got a large dog bar in return (you can cut it with a knife but that's impractical).

    Pros
    • DE-LISH! - No dog (or human) is going to want to eat anything that tastes like medicine, so we made sure these bars really fit the idea of what a treat is! These delicious pumpkin dog treats can be given as a treat, mixed with bone broth, or crumbled over a meal. Either way, rest assured that this is the treat dogs are asking for.

Money thrown away when your dog would rather starve than eat.

I know dogs are individuals but mine is NOT such a picky eater and would rather go hungry than eat them in ANY shape, form or manner. Not whole, not broken, not broken, not mixed with anything else it touches. He finds something fundamentally unpleasant.

    Pros
    • VET RECOMMENDED. dr Chris Bessent developed these patented canine pumpkin bars to improve the overall health of dogs' intestines and anal glands. She even created a mini version for small dogs! And she's not alone in her opinion; Holistic veterinarians across the country believe in Scooter's butt bars and choose to carry them around to relieve canine constipation, treat loose stools, treat anal sac problems, and stop canine diarrhea.
    Cons
    • Not as fat as other picks

My Dogs Love Them - Cats

Two happy puppies! you love her! My boy Baxter has problems with his anal glands. They are always too fat and he has to pump them every few months. When we started, there was nothing to say about his appointment. No more scooters. I don't know if he had all these problems from eating wet food, but that changes everything. Thanks very much!

    Pros
    • FULL OF FIBER FOR REGULAR SHAREING - These chic bars contain psyllium husk and pumpkin for dogs, both natural sources of fibre. Pumpkin and lentils are high in fiber, which helps improve bowel movements and relieves diarrhea in dogs, and fiber, while psyllium husk promotes fluid balance in the colon and helps with constipation. For dogs with persistent stool problems or irregular digestion, combine the bars with a probiotic such as Microflora to make them regular again.

This pup has a happy bottom

My dog had a serious problem with anal leakage or irritation. He licked her quite a bit. We've tried high-fiber foods but haven't wanted to switch to expensive prescription foods just yet. These have helped so far! He only ate them as directed on the label for about a week, but we found they leaked a lot less and licked a lot less.

    Pros
    • PROFITABLE EATERS RATE IT WITH 4 PAWS - Picky puppies usually wrinkle their noses at unfamiliar food. Try feeding your dog something that will improve their health and you may be able to "wake up fuhgedda". Scooter Butt Bars contain all the natural ingredients dogs really want to eat!
    Cons
    • So far so good

    Plastic found in Bar

See picture. I found this piece of plastic by cutting through one of the bumper pads. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't cut the pole and then I found this piece of plastic embedded in the pole. It's a hard piece of plastic with sharp edges; it could cut open my dog's mouth, throat or stomach if I don't find it before giving it to her. Won't buy again due to poor quality control.

    Pros
    • MADE IN USA. This fiber supplement for dogs was developed by veterinarian Dr. Chris Bessent, who owns and operates two Herbsmith facilities in Wisconsin. Trust in the quality of a veterinarian with over 30 years of experience.

Love the idea but the dog hates it

I have Chorky every month with anal gland problems. The idea behind this is great and I could see the difference in his stool when he ate it. Which almost never happens. I've tried offering it as a treat or mixing it with food. But he'll only eat a small amount, that's all. Which doesn't help. So until they improve the dog's taste and become low-calorie. I won't buy anymore.
