Make cutting easier with power and hand tools

Love these scissors! They're made of durable, not cheap plastic like the ones I've had before. Trimming a patchwork quilt just got so easy. I was able to do it in one sitting despite the arthritis in my hands. There is no pain even after the operation.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Protection

I would give 5 stars but for that.

I would have given 5 stars but the fact that the screw was loose and caused some problems until I solved the problem but now they are 5 stars. Bought these to trim patch quilts and they do a masterful job.

Easy to use with hand tools

Love these fabric scissors! They are easy to use and cut through multiple layers of fabric. I'm not sure what else I'll be using them for, but they definitely let me finish a patchwork quilt with ease. No hand cramps. Very sharp cutting edge. I would recommend these scissors for this type of project.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Interchangeable

The best scissors I've ever had!

The best scissors I've ever had - very easy to use! I used them to make a patchwork quilt (pictured) and the final cut was just as smooth as the first. I'm so glad I went broke! 12/27/18 - I had to update to say they STILL work great after my 4th blanket. Haven't had to cut or sharpen yet, four patchwork quilts and still the best scissors for the job.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Some flaws

All patchwork quilts should be like this!

Wow. I was making my third quilt and decided to buy these specialty scissors to help my 70 year old hands. They are well made, high quality and oh my gosh they make cutting incredibly easy! I love them and wouldn't make another quilt without a few in my tool box. A great tool and a great gift for yourself or someone who makes patchwork quilts.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Far superior to Fiskars

These shears work MUCH better than the other three pairs I've tried. The design leaves a lot to be desired. They could be a little more convenient to use, but they work very well for what they're designed for. If you've tried making patchwork quilts using the Fiskars model, you know they work no more than a few quilts. Definitely worth the extra money.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Not for me! 😞 for hand tools

Bought on the recommendation of an experienced quilter but they just don't fit me. I make a lot of rag quilts, they come highly recommended for cutting hundreds of open seams on a quilt. They hurt my arm, were difficult to handle, and cut the seam if I wasn't careful with them. Don't get me wrong, they are very durable and well made, but not my favorite quilling scissors.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

These are the best, I love them!

Love it! I just completed a patchwork quilt with them and they did an amazing job of slightly controlling the depth of the cut near the seam. I also use them to cut the circles I sew before turning them into another blanket. It's really nice to be able to easily control how close I'm cutting to the seams. Also, they cut like a knife through butter, a rag blanket. I highly recommend it. I used an orange handle stamp on my first patchwork quilt, they kept sticking and we're hard to control. Do…

Pros
  • Packed in a vinyl sleeve

Great scissors for patchwork!

I bought these to use on quilted quilts as my hands and eyes were tired of cutting with regular sewing scissors. They have arrived and I've been making them work hard for the past few days and they are worth every penny spent. They cut through many layers of cloth from the Great East. They are lightweight for those of us with hand issues and the spring action is perfect. They are very well made and I highly recommend them for cutting quilts. They cut through the fabric - 4 layers of flannel…

Pros
  • Blue padded handles; Self-Expanding Staple Scissors
Cons
  • Requires Socket

There is no comparison!

I average three bed size quilts a month. Over the years I've used more Fiskars quilting shears than I can count. And I was happy with them because I found they worked well. But these! Heritage cutlery cutters are far superior to the competition. I will never use anything else again. They handle the thickest bolt of fabric so effortlessly that I really enjoy trimming it. No more tired hands. No more disappointment. Why didn't I dare to spend a few euros more? I have cut five king size quilts so…

  • Great for patch quilting
