This product was just what I needed to keep the radio off the center console and easily accessible. I was concerned about the materials used and would still prefer the lightweight aluminium/metal version but it holds up well. I only have problems with her. 1. I bought this product for my Hamm radio and for CB use. This made a new spot for my radio instead of a cup holder, I will be buying another for my wife's car.

When I opened the box the mount looked used. He was scratched. I mounted the radio on the bracket and it wobbles. I see that the bracket will not hold. It may be for a cell phone, but not for a radio

I suspect most good reviews are fake. This is a poorly designed product. The mounting plate, although plastic, looks good, as does the mic clip. The cup isn't bad either, it's tightened when you adjust it. However, the connections in the mount just aren't finished and the mount moves back and forth all over the place when trying to attach something.
