Durable, attractive, folds compactly and kids love it!

This is a great kite for beginners; very forgiving. Small enough for my six and seven year old boys. This is a hydrofoil kite so there are no poles to potentially break, it folds up nicely and packs into a bag small enough to fit in a glove box. My kids and I flew it in high winds and we crashed it many times while learning the turns and tricks. Kite ran great. As soon as we learned how to do tricks, park goers were dazzled by this kite. I recommend adding a 20 foot cane tail for added appeal.

The game-changing kite for sports and outdoors

Two strings for the first time? This is your kite. You'll want to take a friend with you on day one while you get the hang of it and you'll probably end up tangling a few times, but after half an hour of use this kite is amazing. I try to fly it at sunset on the bay a few days a week. I still fly my old single sting kites from time to time but this is my choice. A little worn after 100 hours but no complaints. One tip is to wrap the strings around the handles, starting at about 10 feet long…

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I used to play with a kite, so I'm not a beginner. This kite is too small to stay in the air. Also, the line is either too long (to add weight) or just too heavy to pull the kite out of the sky. This is a design flaw that all potential buyers should be aware of: you will not have a comfortable flight with this kite. with the curvature of the sky. Other kites can easily stretch this slack, making the control line easy enough to maneuver. I will not recommend this bow tie to anyone, not even…

Amazing kite

This thing is a blast. Starting alone is a bit tricky, but it's easy with a second pair of hands. Speaking of which, this kite definitely loves a little more wind than some, but it performs exceptionally well. It only takes a few minutes to get used to flying and this is the perfect beginner kite for both kids and adults. We have used the kite as is (no modifications or additions) and will likely continue to do so. I can do an impromptu plank just to help kids who don't understand that small…

A fun and easy stunt kite built to last

My first 2 string kite. There is a short learning curve when figuring out how much power it takes to maneuver. I settled in in about 20 minutes. With enough wind (I've been flying at 10-12mph) you can get this kite to figure eights, dive and do loops. It is practically ready to fly, except for two very quick and easy "lark head" knots which are explained in a helpful guide. The strings are strong and each has a loop handle, which is important as this kite is capable of serious speed. Small…

Material and workmanship are very good. It comes with a nice case

Quality: Materials and construction are very good. It comes with a nice bag. The leashes are made of polyester and are supplied with hand straps in a strong wrap. This brand produces very good quality kites. The smaller size of the kite gives it a narrower range of wind speeds and it doesn't like slow winds. It also has a narrower wind window (for those unfamiliar with the term, this means it has a narrower range of motion on either side of the window, with the center in line with the wind…

It's so easy to fly. My 8 year old turned pro in minutes

I thought it would be fun to get a foil kite to play around with when my family is at the beach. You thought I was weird to kite but let me tell you about a minute later I was flying it on the beach my 8 year old son had to try it! this and literally took the reins and started flying like a pro. Of course, the newcomers hit the ground running. Mostly by me and the kite showed absolutely no damage! As soon as my wife saw how much fun we were having she gave it a try and now I've officially…

Great, portable and affordable ready to fly 2 line kite

I couldn't wait for my recent trip to land and was hoping for strong enough wind to try this Symphony Beach III 1.3 kite and the results were easy astonishing . I have flown two line kites for many years and have suffered from broken spars, lost parts and worn out connectors that have all too often stood between me and happiness at high altitude. This kite eliminates those issues and, even better, folds down into a small backpack that fits in the corner of a backpack or suitcase and even has…
