fist feeder. in automatic feeders

is a replacement for what is broken. The clamps holding the resistor break. cheap execution. You can't program the time when you set it, it's the time that distributes it.

Very good feeder

Excellent feeder! I advise you to tape something on the battery posts to keep them from rusting in a humid environment. Ours is on top of the tank so is exposed to high humidity.

  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Appearance

Easy to use and reliable.

Easy to use, works well and is reliable. I particularly like the fact that you can easily adjust the amount of food. I just pop in food, batteries and push a button. I've only used it with granola so ignore my opinion if you use something else. Of course, I live in a dry environment, so you have to be careful not to get the food wet.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some problems

Reliable and high quality feeder Hydor! Made in Italy company!

Reliable high quality Hydor feeder! Made in Italy company! Lasts more than two weeks of feeding for my 75g saltwater aquarium! I schedule mine to feed twice a day six hours apart ie (9am and 5pm daily). Tip: Don't forget to set it for the time you need your first feeding of the day and then forget about it. You can set it up for 1, 2 or 3 feedings per day. Good price and highly recommended for your aquarium.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Not a fan of overall design and functionality. .

I don't like the overall design and functionality. When using granola, the food hits or misses depending on the amount. The timer has three settings: once a day, twice a day and thrice a day. If you want twice a day, the first time is at installation (repeat every day) and the second time is six hours from that point. I would prefer if I could set the time I want. Also, he is VERY noisy when he feeds the fish. I hear it all over the house. I'll probably buy another one soon.

Pros
  • Certified

  • Only available in white

The only thing I don't like is that you have to change the batteries.

This feeder will definitely get the job done and is very reliable. The only thing I don't like is that if you need to change batteries or reset the feeding schedule, you have to do it at the exact time you want the first feeding to happen. You can't set it up at 9am to feed at 5pm. If you want the feeding to start at 5pm, you need to be nearby to reset it at 5pm. This is the only downside. Otherwise it works well and the batteries last a long time before needing to be replaced. I wouldโ€ฆ

Broke within a week

Feeder arrived on time with poorly written instructions. I was able to assemble it and set it up correctly, but when trying to figure out the right amount of food to serve, I found that it was either dispensing VERY much or almost not enough food. Finally finding an acceptable amount, I gave it a try. Worked 4 days and then stopped working. I opened it up to make sure there was enough food (there was) and made sure the batteries were working (they did). When I tried to put the food containerโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to tell

No frills, does the job.

The picture of this feeder is a bit deceptive. I was under the impression that it has a programmable timer because it shows what looks like a timer on the page. It turns out this is just an image of a clock printed on it near the lights. Indicator lights indicate how many times per day the feeder should feed into the tank. When you put batteries, you need to choose one, two or three times a day. The time you set is the feeding time. So if you want your fish to eat at 5pm, you need to set themโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
