The mesh is very thin and clogs easily.

Very fine mesh that clogs very easily and is difficult to clean. But in 2 days it clogs. It seems that soap residue has clogged it as the hair is easy to remove. Seems very well made, but it doesn't suit us.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works perfectly! Inexpensive

I wasn't sure what size I needed for my bathtub drain so I bought this one as it was the cheapest option at around $6 for 2. Perfectly grabs all hair before it goes down the drain and is very easy to clean after drying! Very happy with my purchase and works exactly as I hoped it would. I will update the review if it starts to rust or corrode but at such a reasonable price I really don't mind replacing it from time to time if needed.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Very good product! on kitchen and bathroom faucets

We use these drain filters in both of our laundry tubs and are amazed at how much water they catch from the washing machine. They do everything we hoped they would, they're durable and the mesh itself easily takes shape when you need it. Our tubs are very old and have metal crosses not much lower than the top so the mesh elements aren't as snug as in a more modern setting, but they still do the job perfectly. We are very happy that we have them.

  • Sleek design

Great end cap for sink and bathroom accessories

I never thought I would need one for my sink. I am a single male who has his face and head shaved and clean shaven. Then a few weeks ago I noticed that my sink was reserving even though the water pressure was very low. So I used a cotton swab to test, removed all the fine hairs and pulled the cork out all the way. It was full. Used some drainage to finish cleaning. Then I ordered this one and it fits perfectly in the sink. Stays in place and water flows freely.

Best Bath Strainer

They match our bath drain perfectly and are by far the best hair protection. Don't settle for other tricks like "Tub-Shroom" or whatever it's called. They're cheap, easy to clean, and very effective. My wife has very long hair and her hair kept clogging the drain. Now when I use them, they stop clogs right in their path. To clean I just pick it up, wipe my hair down with some toilet paper and put it back on.

  • Certified

Easy to remove, good for plumbing

Our dog loses enough hair in a week to have another small dog. The drain in our bathroom was constantly clogged with her hair. I removed the regular plug and attached this strainer and a flat rubber bath plug when bathing her. Now her hair ends up in a colander, not down the drain. The sieve is very easy to use, but the dog hair cannot be removed so easily. It's not the filter's fault, and I'd rather fight hair stuck in the filter than 10-20 feet down the drain pipe.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons

Inexpensive way to avoid huge plumbing bills

Just what I needed to catch my long hair before it went down the drain. Years ago I learned a lesson about letting long hair down the drain when I had to pay a small fortune to unclog clogged pipes. It wasn't just hair (don't rinse off any women's products or those so-called "flushable" wipes!), but hair was a big part of it. I've been using one of these strainers in the shower ever since and have never clogged it again. I don't mind scooping wet hair out of it after every shower as it avoids…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

Perfect for 1-3/8 " drain

I was looking for a strainer for my new laundry tub (Brand: Mustee 19W). Was frustrated because I couldn't find a strainer in any BigBox that would fit in the tub fit. The smallest they had was 1-1/2" (the width of the protruding portion of the mesh that runs down the drain). I decided I needed a strainer that would fit into a 1-3/8" "Drain fits. This filter is great. A photo shows the drain is 1-1/4" wide. That sounds pretty accurate. There is a little wiggle room when mine is put in, probably

Well done. It catches so many dust particles but fluff

I bought the first set of these more than a year ago. Love it. This is the second set I've bought. I bought a second set when there is a lot of lint etc in the wash. Sometimes the strainer gets clogged (because it does its job so well). So I like to keep a few on hand in the laundry tub for quick changes to keep the water draining. They are so well done. They can be simply stuck in the sewage system and just as easily removed again. It's best to take them to another sink with a colander and run

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I won't say anything
