Good replacement cover

Manufacturer claims these covers are thicker than the original covers but they are much thinner than my old one; However, this is a different material (hopefully better). The material is more like the material of my other (newer) air conditioner. The case fits well, the screw holes match. The old case was open at the back, but this case has shutters at the back. It wouldn't have been a problem, but the material on the back was rippled and the backing material lay on the air conditioner finsโ€ฆ

  • Sturdy construction

This is perfect for my RV.

This was perfect for my joey camper, it didn't have two holes in the back so I drilled them before installing and found those holes weren't needed after all. I used a short self-drilling tech screw with a stainless steel washer because my old screws were a little loose and I didn't want them to come loose (I see them on the highway side sometimes) and because I used self-tapping screws I have added center front. While it was off I took the opportunity to repaint the metal cover underneath as it

) Very happy with this item

Perfect for my 13,500 BTU air conditioner! I installed a Duo-Therm air conditioner (from Dometic), model 57915.531, in a 2002 motorhome, so it's a "New Style" unit. (The air conditioner model number is on a label which you can access by removing the ceiling grille and seeing it attached to the surface ABOVE the electrical cabinet.) This replaced my old part - part number: 3108239.009. (It should also be possible to substitute other part numbers for units of the same size in the series withโ€ฆ

Fast installation on my fast air unit!

Unable to find a case for my AC unit (Fast Air on the Warrior 05 13.5k unit), I decided on shape/design and size. The block fits snugly, you need to massage the lid on the bottom shell. Only one hole pre-drilled in the lid didn't fit, so I used a self-tapping screw. In addition, the two rear screws where the condenser is located were missing. I'm giving four stars because it's pretty flimsy for the money. The rear "grill" is very strongly curved and almost touches the condenser. I think I'llโ€ฆ

Must last. on RV Parts & Accessories

Fits but needs to drill a few holes. Also, like other reviewers, I cut out the rear grille and left a few reinforcement bars so I could have airflow through the coils like a factory unit. It appears to be made from a different plastic that is better able to withstand the sun's UV rays. The time will show. 09/17 Only locals drove and there were several high wind storms. There are no problems with the lid. Please do not ask the reviewers if this unit will fit your air conditioner. Sending serialโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Can't remember

I couldn't figure out which style to buy "Old or New" I bought the "New" style and this device is good enough for a little massage in terms of the position of the screw holes. Not so hot what's up. The height and width seem absolutely correct compared to my old cracked device. The back of the device has "2" main differences. It's about 1/2 to 3/4 inch in back, it also didn't have rear screw holes punched in the plastic like the original unit. My original lid was completely open in the backโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some problems

Great quality and worth a few quick edits.

Made of high quality plastic. I'm confident in its durability even though it's not as thick as the original. I bought this to replace a hail damaged original cover on my 2002 Starcraft popup. It fits in well with a few issues: as mentioned, there are no holes on the back, but 30 seconds of drilling fixed that. I had misaligned one of the two front screw holes. A quick new hole in the device's gray base solved that problem too, so no big deal. The only real issue I had was that the mostly closed

Just installed, let's see how it holds up.

Three stars after initial installation as there is no central screw hole on the front and the two holes on the front panel do not align with the existing holes in the mating base of the air conditioner. In addition, the material thickness is 0.063 inches compared to 0.093 inches of the original cover. I had to press pretty hard on the back left corner of the cover to line up the screw hole. {Note: This was the last screw I installed and all other screws were loose at this point. The holeโ€ฆ
