They sent a supplement for a dog, not a cat.

I ordered the Imukin cat in a purple box and got the Imukin dog. I know the cat is out of stock so it's some kind of bait. Now I'm stuck to leave to come back.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Some small things

Smells different than the one I bought from the vet

The one I bought from the vet (probably the same) was in longer packs and smelled like fish oil. This one has a very different smell and my dog doesn't like it. She loved the ones from the vet. I'm not sure if it's expired or fake.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not sure

So good for my cat's health

No more problems with watery eyes and skin diseases not caused by fleas or ticks after a few months of use. I sprinkle them on kibble, mix them lightly with my fingers and they swallow. And I have to admit that I've bought way too many other supplements, usually costing me a small fortune, until it was recommended to me by my veterinarian.

Pros
  • Very impressive

Dogs liked the taste, I didn't like the effect

Started on my vet's recommendation for our senior French Bulldog. We also have a bugle (Beagle/Boston Terrier) and the vet said it would be good for her too so we gave it to both dogs. We would open these little pouches and sprinkle kibble over them while we ate - they loved it and ate their meals at warp speed. Additional note - the powder stinks - disgusting. The diarrhea they both got after a few weeks of taking the substance was terrible. My Frenchie also ended up refusing to eat his food…

My dogs don't like it

I got this to sprinkle on my dog food to get them to eat all the food at once. I have four rescuers and only one of them usually eats his breakfast and dinner once I feed him. The other three are herbivores and only eat when they feel like it. As a result, someone who always eats all of their food will often follow others and eat their food with them. I was hoping this would solve my problem. Unfortunately, my dogs don't like the taste of this filling. I think this stuff is really good for my…

Good for puppy health

I got this Imuquin for an orphaned lonely puppy that I am now raising to help rescue dogs. The puppy had a very difficult start after his mother left the entire litter and the breeder could not take care of the puppies, he was the only survivor out of 5 puppies. So, the puppy is growing and doing well, he has recently started eating dry puppy food. This pup needs surgery in a few weeks and I want to help boost his immune system before and after surgery. The pup is currently 6lbs but I have…

Pros
  • EASY TO USE: Pour the contents of the sachet(s) directly onto the dog food.
Cons
  • I will write later

Smell/taste like fish but from a reputable company!

First of all, Nutramax Labratories, the maker of Imuquin, has a very good reputation in the pet food industry. We have used Dasuquin in the past and are currently using Cosequin for joint health in our dogs. Both products really help our dogs with their mobility and are made by Nutramax. Imuquin has a pretty good list of vitamins that support immune system health. Unfortunately, as it is used more as a preventative supplement, it is difficult to say how good it is for my dog. I've been giving…
