quality material. on Clasps

I bought a dog collar with these buckles attached and was so impressed I had to order a few for other uses. They are of very good quality and very safe.

Pros
  • Always Loved
Cons
  • Too Long to Wait

Very heavy for aluminum. According to listing.

Very heavy for aluminum. It's hard to tell from the list if they sent me aluminum or zinc buckles. In any case, they are very large and heavy. It's actually quite cumbersome.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • No specifications

Fantastic buckles. I use them for dog collars

Fantastic buckles. I use them for dog collars, but they're great for baby harnesses, backpacks, camping gear, and more. They are strong yet light and well packaged.

fits paracord belt

I made this into a paracord belt that I wear every day. He pulled, moved and shook a lot. In my job I'm constantly on the move and I bend a lot, which puts a lot of strain on the belt buckle. So far so good, I've only been wearing it for about 2 weeks but it feels stiff. The only downside is that the buckets got a bit scratched in transit when they bumped into each other, but they still work perfectly.

Pros
  • finally bought

Worth a small extra charge compared to others.

I have tried different types of buckles and they are really great. They look good, hold securely and are easy to remove. Pay attention to the type of buckle if you used plastic buckles. They only have one "eye" at each end. Plastic buckles usually have a double clasp on one end to provide "sliding" tension/locking. Chrome is pretty hard. More scratch resistant than polished aluminum.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Well, they're bigger than I thought.

They're a little taller than I thought but well built, Tonka Tough springs to mind. Maybe because they are big and made of metal? Sure, they scratch, but they're aluminum, so expect that. Also, I didn't give it five stars because I feel like the action could be smoother, and I wanted to spray silicone grease on the mechanism, but it could make it too easy to open. I would also like to say what is made in America (although apparently it is an American company). The cable I bought is premium…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Legacy

Better than I expected.

****Update (4/7/2015) ****Well almost a year later my buckle is still doing its job. If anyone reads my full review, this app works mostly outdoors and sometimes at over 100mph (yes I live a little). There are scratches as expected but the chrome hasn't chipped which means it's a lot stronger than I expected as the inside of the buckles are still PINK as if it didn't have a nice layer of chrome on it. The buckle still holds up pretty well too - almost 365 days later (and it snaps on and off…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived
