Waste of money good for outdoor games

Don't waste your money. Go to a craft store, buy pieces of styrofoam and make your own "bricks". My kids have ripped a few off just by jumping on them. They are literally thin foam with an image printed on them. Not worth the price this game is being sold for.

  • Lasting test results

This game is very interesting for kids

This game is very interesting for kids! This is the first game they choose and they play with their friends when they come. This keeps them busy for a good time. They're 5's and 7's, so we're changing the rules a bit, but they still have fun creating their own rules.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Big and bulky

TOXIC EXHAUST! SALE MUST BE PROHIBITED!

A few minutes after opening, family members began to get headaches and dizziness! On a cold Christmas day we had to open all the windows to get out all the nauseous fumes. This product should be excluded from sale! Shame on the manufacturer who puts such a toxic and harmful product on the market. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS MANUFACTURING PROCESS!

Cheaply made - floor games

Bought this for my little granddaughter who likes to think the floor is lava. The styrofoam figures you stand on are very cheaply made, some figures lost their pressure within the first half hour of play and no longer hold their shape. The idea of the game sounds fun, but the game itself is not very well made. I would not recommend this.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some little things

The floor is lava! Best in Games and Accessories

A fun game that adds a new version of The Floor is Lava. Easy enough for my preschoolers to play with and a good way to get some energy and stay active. The only complaint is that the colored bricks are quite thin craft foam and some of the pieces have already started to bend and/or curl around the edges. We've only had the game for a week, so we can't say how it fares with repeated prolonged play.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Fun, active game for children of all ages

Pretty simple guide. The kids really had to play with the adults the first few times as they are 5 to 8 years old. But they accepted it so they could play on their own terms. It takes up little space, but can easily be played indoors. We've found it works best with four people or fewer, but you can easily add more tiles of your own to increase the number of people who can play. I have a feeling the tile will break easily. However, we've played it a few times and they've all remained untouched…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Tape

Fun game, poor quality

This is such a fun game that kids of all ages will enjoy. It comes with foam mats that you lay out on the floor. We play it in the middle playroom. Suitable for both a small apartment and a large room. This is something like a combination of classic "hot lava" and music chairs. A player (or an adult) spins the spinner and players must quickly move onto the mat of that color without touching the ground. The last player to reach their new mat removes the mat they immediately came from. Some mats…

  • Nice to use

Special Instructor Review

I'm a speech therapist at school working with K-5 students and this game quickly became a hit in my office! Ever since I first introduced this game, students keep asking me if we can play the "lava game”, so it is definitely a great addition to any special needs setting due to the motivating aspect of this game. The goal of the game is simple. : Players pretend the floor is lava and they can only step on colored tiles. On their turn, players spin a colored spinner and must cross tiles to get to
