Quality control (consistency) seems to be slipping.

I really like this epoxy and have probably used several pounds of it on repairs, plumbing etc over the years. The problem lies in the consistency of the last batches. The latter proved too harsh - he barely pulled it out of the tube. The previous one was too liquid. Let's hope this batch is right - more like thick toothpaste and the same consistency in both tubes than liquid oil or almost solid concrete coming out of the tube. Other reviewers noted that some tubes fill only partially or are…

Buy it. You will use it

I use JB Weld wherever normal people use almost everything else. He holds up car bumpers, fixes a trampoline, patches holes in my truck bed, and smooths out a hollowed-out manhole (no oil is leaking now). JB works both in humidity and under water. I even installed an exhaust gas temperature sensor cap (the round nipple it screws into) directly on the pipe just before the catalytic converter. I wanted to cook it but it's hard and strong. Much hotter than advertised plus vibration. Wonderful. I…

Great item, looks like metal welding

I had a home job fixing a relatively inexpensive tailor's dummy for my wife. The metal welds holding the slip ring (connecting the strut to the hull) came loose leaving the dummy looking like a drunken sailor (in fact, I've never SEEN a drunken sailor - I've seen one myself in the US Army - and I apologize to my ancestors who were loyal pugs in the US Navy!). I saw this product online - the "Welding" part of its name caught my attention - and I followed the instructions. Very easy to apply with

Payload of JB's Most Effective Epoxy

While JB Weld in Las Vegas offers a veritable buffet of adhesive products, this steel-reinforced epoxy is the industry's most powerful, versatile and elite, and is presented here in a uniquely large "professional size" "featured" volume that maximizes its great value. Observations: (1) At a whopping 5020 psi, this epoxy was developed as an alternative to welding and has by far the highest tensile strength on the market. (2) At 10 ounces, we get one Ton of product, and the more the merrier. (3)…

It's a great epoxy

It's not a miracle and I wouldn't use it to 'weld' a cylinder block. But I think it's just the best epoxy. This has been my go-to epoxy for years when I need a really strong bond. It's inexpensive and extends the life of many household/garage items I own. I try to keep some of these things handy at all times. It's five stars, but there are a few things to note: 1) It's not "super glue" and it doesn't stick together in 30 seconds. . This works best if you can stabilize the item and leave it…

Not strong - non-stick plastic

I had a broom head that looks like this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B004FTPSS6 It broke in the middle. I have researched all epoxy based products and this one has proven to be the most durable. I mixed the epoxy, applied it to both parts and seated the two parts (and held in a clamp to make sure the two parts were pressed firmly against each other and didn't move). I let it dry for 3 days. I screwed the reconditioned nozzle back onto the handle and began gently sweeping the driveway…

Excellent product for joining metal to ceramic

This product is perfect for my application. I had to attach a metal frame to the back of the ceramic tile to hang the tile on the wall. I used the JB Weld 8265S according to the instructions on the box and it worked very well. Since this product has a tensile strength guarantee of 3960psi and my tile weighs 8 ounces, I think this may have been an overstatement. (By my estimation each side of the wire was covered with about 0.5 square inch of mixture to a depth of about 1/8 inch). This epoxy is…
