It was a very nice little suit looked great just fell in love with it but I ordered 4 for a 4 year old who wears a size 4-5 and that was just MUCH big him. Then I ordered a size 3 Joey Couture pinstripe suit and it was still too big for him. He's not a little boy, I'd say of average height. . . probably around 35-36 lbs, 40-42 inches tall and I think if I had enough time I would even try on a size 2 but we didn't have time so we kept a size 3. Just received this suit on Sunday (love Revain)! I am really impressed with the quality of this set. I bought a JC Penny boys suit last year but didn't have time to compare due to lack of time. I ended up spending about $120 for a two piece set and the quality of the suit was nowhere near as good as Joey Couture. My boy is below average so I went strictly by his height and weight. Very cute for my 6 year old! The size is a little big. It will grow out of 6 pants and I had to hem those pants at least 2 inches. He's also quite tall and needs to wear pants on or above his belly button to keep his crotch from dropping too far. The jacket fitted well and the shirt, while thin, was long enough to be tucked in, which we find difficult to find in a size 6. The fabric is nice and has a sheen, so it's suitable for a dresser.
