Advantages; A cost-effective solution for a hard-to-find neon replacement. Pure colour, great intensity. The only downside was my specific use case. I needed clear light. Too many flashing options

Very good, but the unit I have has a bit of a battery buzz. I don't think it will be on for more than a few hours, after that it will burn out, so maybe good for little crafts. .not the best buy but worth the money

I bought this to create a neon effect on the clock face. It will work, but it's barely bright enough. Watch the attached video. The power supply makes a high-pitched whirring noise that can be heard in a quiet room, but doesn't bother me.

Great lights! If you are using bike spokes I would suggest putting tape over the battery. I accidentally broke a clip on the rear wheel so I sealed it with tape. The front wheel burst in the clamp as soon as I rode. Fortunately, they are connected by a small connector.

Super bright, super thin, seems durable. The battery emits a high-pitched hum when switched on. So unless you're at a rock concert to mute it, it won't be annoying if you use it somewhere near your head for a long time.

Broke after a week, probably more my fault because it didn't tolerate the curves or the controller was too cheap and broke for no reason. You get what you pay for. If you're looking for something simple, e.g. in your car or behind your TV, it's great for contouring and quite bright in the dark. If you're going to use this on a mask or costume forget it, it won't survive.

I find the brightness of this wire to be excellent, especially at this price point. The wire was very easy to manipulate, but sharp or narrow angles could not be obtained. I used it to make a neon sign and since it was my first time I did some research on the product. Really, the only downside I see is that it makes an awful high pitched whimpering noise, but since I don't plan on leaving it on all the time, that doesn't bother me too much. Can't comment on the battery life as I haven't used it
