Excellent results, very satisfied

So far, after several days of use, I am very satisfied with the performance of the product. Pad installation was easy, however there were no instructions for the rotors.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good product better packaging needed

Cons All rotors and pads came in a box and seemed to fall off resulting in damage to one rotor. On the positive side: Power-Stop customer service sends the replacement discs quickly and to the point. Another plus: These discs are very well made and improve OEM braking performance with shorter braking distances and fading. My only suggestion is to add 1/2" closed cell foam to protect the product.

  • Price
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

After 2 years 80 km.

As every CX9 owner knows, stock brakes aren't very good. I replaced all 4 rotors and pads on my 2011 CX9 for 105k. I live in Northern Virginia and here we drive at 65-70 mph towards each other. This is a car for day trips and family trips. The brakes are used. I am very happy with my purchase. 2 years later. Pads at 50% and according to dealer inspection. No vibrations, no strange noises and stops very well. I just passed 175k on my car. Will definitely buy another set when the time comes.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • No power

More expensive but definitely worth it!

Slightly more expensive but worth every cent! Bought for my Mazda CX-9. Everything you need is included in the kit - no need to fuss with ordering one or the other hoping you didn't miss anything. The rotors are very beautiful, very high quality. Even my mechanic noticed it. "They are coated with an anti-corrosion coating (probably zinc) to prevent rusting. I've never seen a kit come out of the factory with no lubrication – a manufacturer really has to trust their processes.” Those are high…

Maybe it would be better with normal rotors.

Rotors have a good finish, Pads come with all new SS hardware. Installed by mechanic, driven over 1000 miles. A noise will be heard, similar to the initial wear indicator of the rotor part spring. The mechanic who also disassembled the passenger found that there was no drag and the ground clearance was good. We don't think the sipes rub against the pads at low speeds. The noise occurs both when braking and when coasting at low speeds. In addition, the rear pads can be smaller than the original…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

Will never buy a Power Stop product again

I really liked this brake kit for the first 4 months of use. They looked great and felt better in my opinion than the stock brakes they replaced. However, after four months of use, a cyclical clicking sound could be heard from one of the front rotors under light braking at lower speeds (e.g. when trolling through a parking lot). The auto tech who fixed the problem for me determined that the cause was a bulge around one of the rotor slots; He grounded the climax but warned that the problem was…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Great set - highly recommended!

I bought this brake replacement kit for my 2007 Mazda CX-9 which I think had some of the worst stock brakes I've ever had, just because of the heavy pressure on the pedal to really stop it car fast. I've tried some EBC Red pads on the front only and while they (generally) stopped the car much better, they weren't balanced with the rear wheels, they didn't have much mileage and they're expensive! Next time I tried the red pads front and rear - it worked well but at this point the rotors started…

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Lots of things

Second to NONE! (plus 4 months update)

Wow. If I could give more stars I would! I installed them on my wife's 08 CX-9 Grand Touring about a month ago. Fits perfectly. The kit contains literally everything you need to replace rotors and pads. It also comes with a basic caliper kit. I mean base because there is NO new seal for the actual caliper piston. In addition, it comes with a guide pin rubber bushing, rubber gasket and dust caps. It also comes with all caliper hardware and some lube. I'd recommend getting some extra high…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
