📻 KA123 Compact AM FM NOAA Weather Band Radio Review

I carry this in my bug bag in the car with extra batteries. Used it this weekend while camping, worked well. A very small device, so portable. The antenna sticks out a few centimeters. Can get weather station and FM no problem. It also has a built-in small LED flashlight.

Works as expected. Reception of AM/FM/WB stations is normal. The sound isn't very good, but it's suitable for listening to the weather radio and, in some cases, voice radio. I'm not sure if you enjoy listening to music on it? The design is a little flimsy, but for such a price it's not critical. I was looking for a "road" radio that would stand up to rough handling and use. I'm not sure if it's him? It works great in a fixed location for monitoring weather forecasts.

Seems to get the NOAA stations we need and snow is in my emergency kit or occasionally taken on the road when weather conditions look or feel right for fear. The included flashlight is great! After using this little radio for a couple of weeks, I found the flashlight that came with it very useful. When the radio is on, the reception seems to be better. at lower volume the reception deteriorates significantly. I really like this little radio and the ability to switch to weather stations has helped a few times this year. especially the other day when the power went out for about an hour.

Pros: Small, lightweight radio ideal for EDC pockets. A flashlight is useful for emergency backups. With our local weather channel, it even moved into the living rooms. I bought this radio so I would have a portable battery operated weather radio to put in my pocket for emergencies. I have a MIDLAND WR300 weather radio for home use so I will compare it to that.
