🐸 Kermit Muppets Stuffed Animal Toy Review

My child asked for this puppet instead of instructions. He didn't tell us what it was for, I got scared. Turns out he just puts Kermit in weird places, like an elf on a shelf. He is 13 years old and used to scare me with this doll many times.

I am a big doll collector and was disappointed with the quality and workmanship of this doll. The mouth was made of thin cardboard and not very doll-like, the inside and outside didn't quite fit as the inner lining was too big for the outer body and the foot was sewn from back to front. I sent it back and will keep looking for a better Kermit.

So I bought it for my 12 year old son for Christmas. When it arrived a week or two ago I peeked in the box and saw it was a green Kermit, was happy and threw it in the closet. Fast forward to now while I pack. I just pulled Kermit out of the box and found him in the most hilarious pose. His arms and legs wrap around his head and body. This is a great product at a great price. For some strange reason my 11 year old niece asked for a Kermit doll for her birthday. Totally random, but I'm glad she's expanded her interests beyond her damn phone! This product was exactly what she wanted and she loved it. Bought this as a gift but decided to keep it as it reminded me of a similar toy I had as a kid. The fabric on it is really soft and Kermit herself is soft. What I didn't know when ordering was that it was a doll. When I was a kid, my parents bought me a similar stuffed animal that was also a doll, so it definitely brought back a lot of memories for me. This will be a Christmas present so I can't rate durability. However very soft! I bought this doll for my 15 year old son as he has been the voice of Kermit for years and has recently expressed an interest in having a Kermit doll to accompany the voice! Kermit's mouth is a bit crooked as the cardboard they use for the upper and lower lip/mouthpiece is very stiff. Consider a new, very thick baseball cap. (VERY heavy.) I don't think it will be too much of a problem as I'm sure my son can break it
