I am a 62 year old grandmother. Took me 6 hours to assemble everything. I've found that some of the charts are actually the opposite of what you need to do. Make sure you match the floors for each room before composing the levels as I had to flip everything to level them. Otherwise it wasn't that difficult, it just took a lot of time. Pretty durable. I hope it lasts!

Let me tell you, never buy these barbie houses from walmart or kmart ever again. This house is off the hook! she loved it! very very durable and so detailed. I mean, the floor lamp comes on, the piano plays music and has a stool, the toilet flushes. The elevator glides up and down effortlessly. It was such a nice and smart move on my part as a grandma gift for my granddaughter for her birthday that all the other kids just stared and wanted to play with it. Just touch it.
