Nice addition to the knitting stitch reference library

A very handy dictionary. The stitches are named for their appearance. There are beautiful patterns, written instructions, and diagrams. The index includes the stitch name and a miniature circular pattern for quick reference. If you're craving more of your favorite stitch types, try a book with a specific focus, like Vogue Books. This book does not contain an abbreviation section. I chose this book over others because of the pattern charts for each stitch (a big plus for me to remember the pattern). However, the book lacks organization. I don't like how the content is organized. This will emphasize stitch patterns too much. This makes the reader feel like there is no proper table of contents. As the title suggests, this book contains 250 knitting patterns; Once beginners understand the basics of knitting, they can easily perform some of these patterns (basic garter stitch, stockinette stitch, basic ribbing), but other patterns include advanced cables, lace, and colored knits.
