Comfortable as the size - length

This is a great little touch and seems to be working well. I love that I can keep it on the front of the fridge and it doesn't catch my eye. At first I was frustrated that you had to keep your fingers in the middle to keep the measure from going off the rails. But now it doesn't seem to be such a problem as I've been using. I would love to be able to choose the color but you get what you get.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some small things

No lock! Unless you count your thumb as a lock

There is no lock unless you count holding the dial with your thumb as a lock. I'm sure not! Touting it as a touchlock is an extreme deception, no, it is actually a blatant lie. To prevent the tape measure from retracting, stop holding the disc with your hand. This roulette is not what they advertise or lead you to believe. Without the lock feature, it's pretty much useless to me.

  • Easy to use

Great meter for the home

I have several of these meters in different rooms of the house, one in the study and one in the living room. If someone needs to measure something, I'll take one and give it to them instead of running around the house. They're small, legible, and better yet, inexpensive. You can easily fix the band by pinching in the middle. I so often need a measuring device to keep on hand to measure everything from the size of the rug to the edge of my leg. I will keep buying them until they stop selling…

Everything is OK. But it's hard to keep it open.

I wanted a tape measure for my pocket when I'm buying furniture or going to the hardware store. This one is round and sleek, but too thick to fit comfortably in your pocket. You also have to squeeze the inner silver bezel to keep it from pulling back, which means you'll have to do something different depending on which hand you're using and which side you're pulling from - it's too complicated for a tool as simple as this . Inevitably, it gets cleaned up unexpectedly almost every time. I…

Pretty disappointing.

Basically I'm disappointed that this tape measure only measures inches, so anything measured in centimeters or millimeters needs to be converted first and vice versa. Another disappointing thing is that the tape measure keeps falling off and the magnet stays on the fridge. I even tried putting it on the front where there is no heat but it still falls off after a day or two. Finally, you need to press the center fairly hard to keep it from pulling back. Overall I am very disappointed and if I…

Easy to carry

Very practical. The minimalist design makes it beautiful and compact, yet practical and easy to use. Most of the time I find myself without a measuring tape when I need it. This is usually because most of them are bulky and difficult to carry. This is small and light enough to carry in your pocket. I like the diameter scale on the back. This is handy because I often work with and inspect pipes. "Touch lock" is stupid. In fact, there is no castle. You just hold it open with the handle and it…

Comfortable, not quite perfect but close

This is a handy little tape measure. I liked it so much that I bought 2 more after the first one. After putting one side by side in my fridge/freezer, I got extras for a chest freezer and a small dorm fridge on different floors of the house. No more climbing stairs to get a tape measure. It seems that wherever such things are, I need them on another level of the house. I had no problems with the magnet as other reviewers have noted. However, I would say mine are in low traffic areas rather than

Write down my advice: This one really fits!

I had a similar tape in my multi tool kit a few years ago and always loved it, there's something about the round shape that makes it fun to use. In fact, I like it so much I lived in fear of losing it or breaking it! I searched for many years before I found the Comelon and now I have TWO round tape measures: one at work, one at home. The size and shape is perfect for slipping in your pocket when heading to the hardware store (I used mine at my local Ace Hardware on a Saturday, yes I did that!).

  • Measuring and Marking Tools

Nice but flawed

I've bought several tape measures looking for the perfect one for my bag when I go to the hardware store, sawmill or furniture store. This one is good but not perfect. For a 10 foot tape that will fit in your pocket, either Komelon 3110 or Stanley 33-115 will do. Komelon 3110 is 1/2 inch wide so the band is stronger and easier to expand than Stanley. The Stanley is only 1/4" wide so it fits in your pocket and has a much smaller volume. But unfortunately it's flimsy and the metal latch on the…

Very Good Small (but not tiny) Tape Measure

If you are looking for a compact tape measure that is really convenient to use then this is it. No it's not tiny, if you want the smallest band there are better options. Also, it's not "industrial" so if you want premium tape for everyday carpentry use, there are better options. In my opinion, this band strikes the best balance between "compact" and "useful" I've found. Compared to tiny bands, it feels more secure and is much more prominent (just over 3ft for me) and a tip that doesn't come off

Pros
  • Length Measure
Cons
  • Expensive
