Good ideas in the book

Good ideas in the book, the instructions are fairly basic, but some of these need to be looked at on the CD for the full (better) instructions.

Not their best book

This is not Lafosse and Alexander's best book. The design isn't very interesting and the paper that comes with it isn't very good. I expected more from a product they created.

Difficult to understand for art and photography

It was quite difficult for me to understand! I did some with my little sister and it was a bit embarrassing that I couldn't understand most of them. Maybe I'm slow but it was a failure for me!

Without the DVD, I don't know how you could actually make a flower!

I don't know how anyone could follow the instructions for this. It is so extremely difficult! My husband came home and tried to make fun of me for not being able to help my daughter make a tulip. After 20 minutes of trying, he said it was more difficult than what you have to do at work. Protection of this product only. I haven't seen the DVD, which might help.

Disappointing: Kindle eBooks

Somewhat disappointing. The book contains beautiful flowers. I found the written/illustrated instructions very difficult to follow (I'm new to origami so probably partly on me). I used the book to find how-to videos online. The papers don't seem to be of good quality at all, much worse than other papers I've bought online. Most paper is 2" square, too small for folding flowers, especially paper that doesn't fold well. DVD doesn't work on my computer. I'll try it on TV. I found it insufficient…

intermediate book. Nothing for beginners.

If you have never made origami or are a beginner, this book will disappoint you. You must be familiar with basic folds and origami terminology before attempting any of the projects in this book. If orientation and angles confuse you, look at simpler origami models. Complete enough simple tasks and you're ready for it. My first folding project was a tulip (photo attached). The instructions are pretty simple and easy to follow. The models in this book are very beautiful and aesthetic. You will be

Origami Flowers for Kindle E-Books

I really liked the book. I love the DVD lessons that Mr. Lafosse includes in many of his books, they are very helpful. The flowers are new (to me at least), except for the ubiquitous lily - why would it be there? - He is everywhere, although he is always beautiful. The only thing that irritates me is the paper that came with it. These are common and actually not very good kami. I'm pretty sure this isn't the paper Mr. L used to present the models on the DVD. I'm not expecting him to send in the
