    Surpasses commercial 6-way splitter

I was shocked. Most likely buy another one. This is what you buy if you're afraid of getting another China junk. They probably do it there too, but it works.

    Great little video splitter

Great little video splitter. My cable company didn't want to use it and used a couple of their own splitters instead. However, they are exactly the same except that they are horizontal and vertical. Easy installation in my home automation box.

    • Great overall performance
    Cons
    • Socket required

Great way to organize all of our coax cables!

Another great accessory for our Legrand IT closet. This accessory fixed an issue where some coax cables were hanging down. I am very satisfied with all the accessories that Legrand offers for these IT wall cabinets!

    Pros
    • Great for me
    Cons
    • Some bugs

Works well, but some connectors are difficult to execute.

I'm using this to split a local outdoor antenna into multiple rooms. All locations normally receive local channels. I haven't noticed any loss in the three places I'm currently using. It seems more difficult to thread coax than other splitters, but once up and running it's not a problem.

WILL NOT WORK WITH ANTOP ANTENNA

When I use this with ANTOP antenna I only get 8 channels because this splitter is only 1.0GHz bandwidth and the antenna is 2.3GHz bandwidth needed. When I connected the antenna directly I switched to 48 channels and increased the range from 39 miles to 60 miles. The description of this device clearly states "1.0GHz bandwidth" but also "Ideal for use with digital cable TV or an antenna" and THIS IS NOT TRUE.

    • Nice to use
    Cons
    • I vaguely remember

    Works as advertised

I am designing and building my On-Q/Legrand TV/Phone/Broadband Data Distribution Panel. I needed one of these among many other modules and consumables. The corner mount capability of this module helps eliminate the clutter of wires inside the panel, but tightening the coax connectors requires a wrench or needle nose pliers (since the 9 connectors on this unit are very close together). In fact, that's a good thing: A small distance leads to a tidy arrangement.

    Pros
    • Industry Best
    Cons
    • Exorbitant Price

So far, so good; Supplied with bracket

I was a little hesitant to purchase this module as neither the picture nor the description indicated if it came with a bracket for On-Q or Legrand chassis. When I opened the box, of course it was there. It snaps into the case very easily and you can remove or slide the module inside the case with minimal effort. Screwing the RG6 cables into the module was a bit fiddly at first, but once you get the angle right they fit snugly. As long as there is no signal loss.

    Pros
    • Quality construction
    Cons
    • Almost ok

The connectors don't match the case's cutouts well

OnQ cases have 2 module carriers and 3 evenly spaced holes on the top of the case. Because of this, the rigid coax cables that run through the top holes are not aligned with the center of each rack. It's okay if you mount the module farther from the cutout so the cables have enough flex to line up with the connectors. However, you cannot mount this module on the top of the case next to the blank as only 3 of the 5 connectors are aligned with the blank and the coax cables are not flexible enough

    Pros
    • This is amazing
    Cons
    • Vulgarity

It does its job. Fits in an On-Q cabinet. Signal loss is much less than the On-Q 1x8 VM1002 I have. We started having phone dropouts from the cable modem phone adapter. Switching to 1x4 kept the device connected. The insertion loss of 1x4 is 7dB versus 11dB for 1x8. It comes with an AC1007 mount. Just look inside the box under the cardboard liner. If you already have a VM1001 or VM1002 that you would like to downsize, you can leave this bracket installed in your cabinet and simply pull out the…
