Very useful tool best in Tools & Gear

Excellent tool for removing transmission seals such as B. Output shaft seals. Will not damage gasket surfaces like using a hammer and flathead to remove gaskets. Also saves a lot of time when removing. Gaskets tend to just pop out with this tool. Be aware that you will need space to use this tool, so it's best if you have your transmission off or have plenty of space under the car. Definitely recommended for mechanics

Powerful, Works Well, Made in America!

For the price, you can't beat this tool! This is an overview of a fixed seal puller, not an adjustable one, which has some disadvantages. It's not like this. It's solid, does the job perfectly, and is a great deal for an American-made tool. For a few bucks less you can get a Bando Breaksmith puller from Harbor Freight, then return it if it breaks, then buy a box of ankle patches, then redo it. Or buy this tool once. And keep your $ in the US

Pros
  • Durable coating
Cons
  • Some bugs

Economical and efficient tool

Before I saw this guy I was planning to buy a standard seal remover. I was a bit skeptical as it looked useless as I had only seen full size standard pullers before. The limited space was the deciding factor. Worked perfectly the first time. The 3/8" ratchet engaged securely and the tool felt solid in use with no wobble or flexing. Also, being able to position the handle of the key in different positions was very useful. "Ratchet for extra leverage.

Nothing worked

I bought this tool hoping it would save me the pain and frustration of removing stuck gaskets, but it made absolutely no difference. Literally none. And my seals weren't the worst I've dealt with. This tool seems to be very effective only in removing fillings that offer no resistance. I'm honestly very upset about this. I'm giving 2 stars because it's pretty well made and I have a feeling it will last a long time. If you happen to have cooperative seals, YMMV.

Worked great: Tools and equipment

I've repacked the bearings in my caravan myself for the past few years. The first time I did this I used a piece of wood to knock out the gasket on the other side (as detailed in the YouTube video I watched). I ended up bending the races, which meant I had to replace them and with them the rings in the hub. Huge tasks. With this tool, I was able to get the sigil out pretty easily in a fraction of the time. Worked like a champ. I was a little worried about how flimsy it is but it looks solid…

GREAT PRODUCT AND WELL MADE

The adjustable head really makes this puller perfect. You couldn't use a crankshaft seal on a 2009 direct drive Elantra, but adjusting the head on this one made a world of difference. I had to gently hammer it into the stuffing box because the gap between the metal case of the stuffing box and the shaft is so tight, but I pulled it out with no problem. retractable locking pin that can be positioned on either side of the puller. This tool is much stronger than shown in the photos. VERY, VERY…

Well-made, versatile tool that gets the job done.

I spent far too many hours over several days removing the oil seal from the rear shaft of my 1999 Mustang automatic transmission - being careful not to damage the aluminum housing. YouTube videos and suggested methods were not effective. So I ordered this tool through Revain (much cheaper than the auto parts store). With some trepidation, I slid under the car, inserted the tool, and with a twist, the oil seal popped out. Being able to adjust the angle of attack with a Lisle seal remover makes a

Good tool, bad pen design.

From what I understand it costs about fifteen dollars. However, for something "Made in the USA" it is of relatively poor quality. The puller pin that locks the lever in place fell apart after 1 use. I can still use the tool, but the pen often falls out. The locking ball repeatedly popped out. This is something that should have been found in QC but wasn't. Should not be returned due to this defect. However, this guarantees the removal of half the rating. I just clip the pen to the storage tool…

  • Stylish and modern design

  • Slightly wrinkled
