Fan-Tastic in Building Materials

Installed the replacement fan blade with ease. Eliminated attic heat as it should and thickness seemed sufficient for its purpose.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Replace them in winter.

Replacing attic fan blades. What can I say. It replaced my old bent, rusty blades. It was in the attic, it was hot there. Ease of installation. But it was hot.

Pros
  • High quality assembly
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Fits Lomanco engine F0510B2944

The fan blade attaches to the collet a little differently than the one I replaced and the collet has a smaller set screw but so far it works the same. Will update this review if I have any complaints.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Something different

Well designed metal fan blade

Since I needed to replace the fan motor in our Lomax fan I decided to replace the fan as well. The original fan was always noisy and I thought maybe the fan was out of balance. Now that the motor and fan are new, all we hear when running is a hum.

  • Wow

Great fan blade for Lomanco F0510B2944 motor

I ordered this blade at the same time as I was replacing my old attic fan with a new Lomanco F0510B2944 motor. It was exactly as advertised and was perfect for the new engine. It arrived two days earlier than expected and they did a great job with the packaging. My only concern is that it seems to be a bit louder than my old 4-blade fan, but I think that's just because my old fan burned out in a few months and I'm just used to being quiet be.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Outer

good price and finish

good finish - my original had a loose collar holding the fan blade to the shaft mounting ring and it made a lot of noise as the fan slid over the ring. This one seems to be better made. Note that some fans had the original three-blade arrangement, but this one has five blades and should move more air. Fits standard 1/2" shaft fan motor. Note: I also replaced the fan motor as it was 16 years old and the bearings seemed to be losing grease - just a matter of time.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Tighten the set screw with a hex socket.

First I used an allen wrench to tighten the set screw. Then I heard the blade begin to rub against the attic fan housing. Luckily I was in the attic and immediately turned off the fan. I removed the motor and blade assembly. Although I tightened the set screw with the allen wrench as hard as I could, the blade came loose. Be sure to use an Allen wrench to tighten the set screw of this fan blade. Since re-tightening the set screw, my fan has been running fine for a few weeks. Also, make sure you

better than the original

I ordered this to replace a 4 blade fan from a ventamatic roof vent. I also swapped the motor. Both were ordered for Lomanco's powerful fan, but both are perfect replacements for Ventamatic models. The original fan set screw was badly rusted and could not be loosened with an allen wrench after soaking in WD40 overnight. This fan blade is of good quality and fits perfectly on the motor shaft. Amazing delivery from McCombs Supply Co., Lancaster, PA to Cape May, NJ. Ordered on Friday and received…

  • This is amazing

Perfect match for universal motor - 5/16 " set screw included

I had a generic motor with no markings that required replacing the fan blades. I took detailed measurements of the original fan blade and it fit perfect - 5 blades, 12" overall diameter, 1/2" hole diameter, 32° blade angle - and cost less than other suitable blades. I received it a few days later and it turned out to be a perfect fit. My kit included one 5/16" set screw that required a 5/32" hex wrench. I installed it and it's been working great for a few weeks now. It's perfectly balanced so…

Pros
  • Cool product
