Tip is round and inflexible, won't seal in rectangular toilet

It "squeezes out water". However, because it's a hard plastic, it's difficult to bend around a corner, and the bottom flange is round. Therefore, it does not seal in the extended Kohler toilet. Because water is incompressible, all that force hits the blockage and rushes back, causing the water in the bowl to churn or erupt. The bathroom is now completely destroyed and the toilet is still clogged.

Crash on second use!

I originally gave it 5 stars and a great review but now after using it twice it's broken! The plastic is too thin or it's bad design! It made a huge mess when our toilet got clogged and when my husband used it it just kept leaning the wrong way! Now it's in the trash and it took hours to sanitize the bathroom. We have had other types of accordions in the past and they have worked great. The seller was very nice but I'm sorry the item didn't fit when we needed it the most!

Cheaply made and no more effective than regular toilet plungers.

I bought this excited at the prospect of a heavy duty toilet plunger. On arrival it was pretty obvious that they weren't high quality materials but ordinary plastic and there was a lot of flash left from the mould. I twisted it together and went to check it out only to find that it wasn't sealing at all, just forcibly spouting water towards the blockage. I'll keep it as a backup, but I'd advise others to either get a regular toilet plunger, or if they're looking for something better, get a…

Good item for most clogs

This item did exactly what I expected it to do which was excellent suction and flushing. However my wife used it when the flush got clogged so the constriction was still in the bowl and it got into the creases and grooves of the plunger and she was very upset. I asked her to leave the room and removed her. I told her to only use it in that bathroom and only when the pipe is clogged and the water in the bowl is clear, which is what happens most of the time. So it's great for stubborn blockages…

Update: AVOIDGood concept; he met his counterpart!

Update: After two attempts, the thin plastic between the two pieces broke rendering it unusable. AVOID! First Review: Well, more than your standard rubber butt has never been needed in the past - this clog seemed to need HP and your description seems to fit the bill. I like it too and that was one of the main reasons I ordered it because it has its own stand so it blends in better. Unfortunately, your piston did not clear this blockage. I've made several multi-minute attempts to resolve the…

Luigi's - Worst toilet plunger in the world?

If there is any rationale for the design of this product, it eludes me. The block is made of rigid, inflexible plastic. Therefore it is not possible for it to fit the outlet of a specific toilet. If the toilet outlet isn't a perfect circle (which I've never seen in real life), then that block isn't airtight. And if it's not tight and you try to blow air or water into the toilet, the likely result is that the toilet's contents will slam back into the user. Not a very pleasant prospect. If the…

Pros
  • Consistent test results

  • High price

Plastic. Not exactly stylish. But my toilets are original, build quality, and clog easily. After trying different types of plungers, including expensive ones and those with bronze bowls/handles rubbed with oil, I have found that accordion-shaped, funnel-shaped plungers are the most effective. (I had the orange one, which was SO gross and didn't have a container; I had to put a Tupperware container underneath to collect "stacks" after use.) This flask, on the other hand, is discreet. Just hide…

Doesn't work for me

I have a Kohler oval flush toilet with a nozzle that helps push the waste down. I've never had a problem with it until recently. But something must be stuck in the drain somewhere. Anyway, I thought this plunger would fit in my toilet, but it doesn't. I can't get a good seal with it so it just squirts water which is definitely not what you want when you have a clogged toilet. This might work on a regular round flush toilet, but it's pretty hard to push down compared to a good old round plunger…
