Excellent leash for about 2 weeks. Then the ribbon in the loop began to split. A week later the glued/sewn loop broke. Then it was inappropriate. My dog is 30 pounds and walks in the shade so I really doubt the leash snapped because of her. Maybe there was a defect in the connection.

This is a great value leash. We chose the classic black because our dog had a bizarre coloring and didn't want to be obtrusive. We ordered the 6ft which is a bit longer, I would have preferred the 5ft because I often wrap part of it around my arm/wrist, but even then it's comfortable and feels sturdy even with our 75- Pound Dog could suddenly run away. behind the squirrel and tugged at it.

The rope feels very comfortable and soft. I have doubts about the durability of the leather attachments as I just received them and they are already a bit worn. I don't like the weak clasp either. The opening part dangles and the spring holding it is very weak. I wouldn't trust that for my dog's safety. I plan to just cut off the clasp and replace it with a sturdy carabiner.

Our dog is a strong Dal and I use him when he wants to go to the farm shop with me. or Petko. She tugged at it, but thanks to the strength of the weave, it doesn't cut or rip my hands like some of the thinner lines used to. (as she pulls) She doesn't usually pull, but when she wants to check something or a squirrel outside, she pulls. High quality. Would buy again.

We needed a specific color for the photos we took with our dog. We used this leash for hiking/jogging/walking because it was closest to the front door. The line is strong enough for most things, but I don't prefer it over expensive lines. If you're looking for a cool color or just walking your little dog, this should be fine. If you have a large dog and spend more time outdoors I would recommend better quality items.

The leash is excellent so far. It's light, looks good and feels good in the hand. He's still holding on after our German Shepherd raped him, tugging and tugging. I don't know how strong the latch closure is, but it feels incredibly light. I would have preferred a heavier option for more confidence and durability. I would recommend this leash if your dog is tame and well behaved. If you have a hardworking dog that tugs and pulls a lot, I probably won't feel comfortable trusting its durability.

We love this leash! The fact that he is still intact after a year of puppy abuse is amazing! We received our female dog at 9 weeks old and she weighed 16 pounds. So the leash seems good enough. I mean it's a simple rope line. It appears to be well assembled and the clip is of high quality. My problem is the "leather" parts. In the photo they are brown. Like normal brown leather. They are greenish in person and look very cheap. I just wanted a plain leash and I wanted a rope leash and I found it attractive. I'm a bit frustrated though because it's a bit ugly. As far as the leash works, it works. At least for my 30lb 14 week old goldendoodle pup.

I really like this leash both functionally and visually. It's clean, simple, has a matte black clasp that gives it a premium look and holds up great despite frequent use.
