Got a job for supplies

I am renovating our home and had to remove approximately 1100 square feet of tile/thin set. 😳. It definitely made tedious work less tedious! I would recommend it for DIYers.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great tool for removing thin plaque.

Excellent tool for removing thin layers. I used the 3" but this gave me a lot more room to remove the flimsy set. I had to use a grinder every hour to keep the edge sharp. With prolonged use you will notice that you slow down. Again a great tool for the job!

Two thumbs up best in building materials

I tested it on my HD Husky percussion gun and it chewed through a thin layer like no other. My wife stood by me with a vacuum cleaner while I cleaned up. The chisel retained its sharpness over the 200 square meters. ft. old tile in our kitchen. I would buy again if needed.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Not sure

Worked as expected - building materials

I needed to remove ETICS (DryVit) from my concrete foundation. The compressor and this chisel made my job a lot easier. Manually it would have taken me 10 years or more. With a puncher it would take me 2-3 weeks. With compressor and chisel it took 15 hours.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say

350 feet of ceramic tile, fine laying and durable!

Just removed the ceramic tile and flimsy set from the last of our two bathroom floor jobs. This tool has withstood abuse and removed all the hard-to-remove materials. Others complain that the tool breaks, I wonder if they are using it at the wrong angle and putting pressure on the sensitive area. Keep it sharp, at the right angle and use the right pressure/force when using it and it will last a long time. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Quality

Indispensable when removing a thin layer

We got this tool to remove the thunder from the tiles that we replaced in our kitchen. We started hand pounding. I was ready to abandon the project in ten minutes. This tool saved the project. We hooked it up to our air compressor and sprayed it with a light coat of water and it was MUCH lighter. We ended up wearing out our small air compressor during this project, so we de-stressed it with a larger one and were able to work through the rest of the skinny set in a couple of hours.

Won't stand up - building materials

It really isn't sharp enough to get the job done and the material isn't as hard as metal to withstand the tests this tool has to put through. In the end it didn't work for me. I used the narrower bit to push the tile out and then used the bit on the sander to remove the remaining thin layer. This process was much faster than the broad bit. The wide bit broke the tile into small pieces and did absolutely nothing when it came to removing the thin part. The cutting edge also wore out quickly until

Pros
  • Sleek design

  • Not everything fits

4 ">0.5 " EXCELLENT, great tool A+

So my wife decided to tear up the tiles in our kitchen/dining room, first of course she went to the home department without consulting me and returned with a half-inch chisel. The length of the room is 10x30 it was ridiculous so I ordered this tool and it seriously changed the GAME. What took three weeks, this thing took 20 minutes. Also, some thin tiles are much harder than others. After breaking the tiles, we saw that whoever built our house used two different types (white like concrete and…
