How did I live without her?

How did I live without it? I was sure it was probably overbought, but I already had 18v batteries and the mere tooling wasn't that crazy. I finally decided on this purchase when I ordered PC-Concrete 2-component epoxy adhesive paste for anchoring and repairing cracks. Feedback has been very positive, apart from how difficult it was to force the sand and glue through the mixing nozzle. So I figured it would help, and the boy did. I hunt a lot more now that it's so easy.

  • The delivery was very fast

Power Caulker Tennis Elbow

Yes. I'm not a pro, but I have tennis elbow. This tool has helped me putty the seams and window trim this year, and it's been pretty easy on my tennis elbow. I have to admit it's nice not to break a single bead to put those long stitches back in place. This continues until the sealant tube is empty. There are 5 speed modes, but I rarely go above 2. The difference in speed between 1 and 2 is quite large. With the 5th mode, a full tube of sealant is emptied in seconds. Get a hanging clip and also

I love this weapon! in hand tool

If you compose a lot, buy it. This thing works GREAT. The setting takes a bit of getting used to - you need to make very small adjustments to the speed dial to get the correct flow rate. I have no idea why either, but most sealants and adhesives seem to get rid of less air bubbles (those pesky caulking gaps). Practically absent in both small and large cartridges. Really saves a lot of time and effort. Changing the cartridge size requires a Phillips screwdriver and about 2 minutes. If you have…

Great tool! Best in Power Tools and Hand Tools

I have been a builder for almost 50 years and all I can say about this tool is that I wish I had bought it sooner. It is great! I have a lot of Makita and Dewalt batteries, so I've read both Makita and Dewalt reviews, and Dewalt seems to have had complaints about feeding sealant too quickly. So I went with a Makita and hoped for the best. My assistant is very picky when it comes to embossing work. We worked on caulking the pan seams of an old Airstream trailer, a good test for the new gun, once

What You Need to Know

Oh my god, how I wanted to believe. First, with the battery and sealant hose installed, this thing is heavy. It weighs about the same as two Makita drill presses. This makes any kind of precision work impossible or quickly becomes obsolete when working overhead. The device is front-heavy, so if you lay it down straight like a drill, it falls right onto the handpiece. There is a speed setting of 1-5, but you'll only use 1-1.25. There is no pin function on the trigger. It stinks. There is no way…

Good pistol, but not outstanding.

When you buy a brand you become attached to it because of the batteries. So I went with Makita to save on another company's battery costs. I have several kits from Makita. That's a good gun. I think it's a bit overpriced but I would buy it again. It would be better if there was a wire on board to pierce the sealant or sealant you will be using like on the Milwaukee. I also like the tools that can be attached to the tool belt. So I think you could buy a drill or impact attachment and use that if

Love these tools: Power and hand tools

I love this tool. That works great. I own and run a window shop so I chase a lot. So I bought this Makita cartridge gun. Wow, I just had to pull the trigger. Most days I install 15-20 windows per day (new build). These are all four sides of the window nail flange that will be caulked. Now that it's winter and the caulk is getting a little chilly (keep it in the truck on the way to work), the tool has failed to work with the tool. The carbon fiber seal tube retainer is threaded and has now…

Velocity range inconsistent

So far I've used this gun to stamp about 450 feet of Type II silicon and have had mixed results. I'm no pro, but let me describe how this gun performs in terms of pressure control. There are two methods to control the speed/pressure the gun applies to the pipe.1. On the back of the gun is a scale from 1 to 5. 1 applies very slowly and 2 applies too quickly. So fast that the product leaks out the back of the tube and makes a mess in the gun. You can adjust the slider in various increments from 1
