Lowest Price Marinco Connector

This is a replacement for a blown Marinco connector. Checked online and it was the lowest price for the same plug. Shipped quickly!

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Works great in sockets

There are many videos on YouTube to help with the installation. The plug is of high quality and a good replacement for the original plug. It's way better than buying a new cable! $$$$

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

New plug for SmartPlug cable

I made a new 25ft SmartPlug cable to connect to the boat. This is used to move the swivel away from the boat. These rotary plugs tend to overheat! Now I can use my old 50ft twisted pair patch cord to get 75ft when I'm off the dock in my home port.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Something else

Better than the orange fork it replaced. Good price

Bought to replace an (unnamed) orange plug that took 2.5 years to install. I already had a socket in the spare parts box on the boat. Was easy to install and works quite well. The price was very good compared to other dealers and less than the orange fork.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Well made and fits the Marinco hat. This however.

Well made and matches the Marinco hat. However, it doesn't snap firmly into place when plugged into my trailer's outlet. In addition, the Marinco cover (which must be ordered separately) is unthreaded, so it cannot be screwed into the RV socket. These are not universal connectors.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Marine "Quality " at Price

Designed to withstand Sea Weather = Salt + Water but NOT WATERPROOF. Has nickel plated brass contacts for salt air resistance but costs $60-$100 vs. same plug that is not salt resistant = has brass contacts without nickel plating for $20-$25. Too expensive for what it is. Cover or cover required for increased track/rope resistance = ADDITIONAL $20-$25. It calls for high-quality competitive products.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons

Complete road trailer adapter kit

My trailer had a shore power line that was not well stored. I solved the storage problem by cutting the cord so only a small section remained in the trailer and plugging the end of the trailer into the socket in the kit and attaching that plug to the outside wall of the trailer. The plug in the kit was attached to a long trailer power cord. The two connectors easily connect with a watertight gasket. Both plugs could be easily connected to the appropriate cables.

Pros
  • Ribbed design for a secure fit
Cons
  • Older model

Excellent product, arrived without a locking ring.

Was glad to get this to replace my existing fork. Upon arrival I noticed that the kit included a black locking ring as shown in the photo and stated in the description. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed that the snap ring should be included in P/N 305CRCN.VPK. They send replacements free of charge. I personally don't think it's Marinko's fault. I believe Revain sent me a previously returned package as the instructions were crumpled and pushed into the envelope. I don't see the…

Pros
  • Yellow nylon body
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I have a 50 amp 250 volt shore power cable from my 42 foot boat. When I'm around I live on board the boat and the cable is at the pier. I keep the cable above the water with fishing line and velcro on the dock, but one day the switch went off and I smelled ozone. I was told not to waste the entire 75ft of cable and replace the end. I was concerned about this but this plug and cap came with full and detailed instructions. I cut my cable with a hacksaw and a good (very sharp) kitchen knife (I had

Pros
  • 50 amp 125/250v shore power plug with locking blade
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
