Disappointed Best in Mirrors

No US product support. Will not work in most newer Chrysler vehicles. This is not stated in the description or anywhere else in the offer. Installed by a Chrysler dealer and found incompatible with the latest vehicles.

Good product. Exactly as described.

Excellent product. The auto dimming feature on what I bought works great. The picture quality is excellent. Exactly as advertised. I wish there was a second signal line for the 2nd video input, but I understand why there isn't one. A quick press of the button on the mirror switches to another camera at my location.A+

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine

Easy install, works great

I have replaced the OEM mirror with a backup camera (sold separately). Works very well. Simple and easy to install. The only reason for the 4 stars was that it seems to run down when adjusted (in other words, doesn't hold the position I've set). There might be an adjustment screw somewhere, but I can't find it. I'm tall so maybe I'll put it on the upper limit (incline) so a smaller person wouldn't have problems. Other than that, it's very nice, and I like the ability to fine-tune the park…

Wonderful gift for mom

Bought for mom. She has a big SUV and no backup camera. My brother and I installed it in just a few hours. Not difficult at all. The mirror works very well, including auto dimming, which is very important. If you've never had it, you'll one day wonder how you ever lived without it. The mirror has many options for setting and adjusting the image, as well as parking lanes. A little clunky interface but it gets the job done. The only downside is the price and you have to buy a separate camera. For

Not bright enough for body and fairing

This mirror was chosen to add a clean factory monitor to my truck for a secondary backup camera (2017 RAM 1500). The mirror is very nice because it works with two cameras, not one (I have a front and rear camera) and that it fits a standard windshield mount (I had to buy a standard T-adapter). The Spade Mount RAM used on my truck, but that's not due to the mirrors), the picture quality of the cameras is good, on such a small screen a higher resolution doesn't do much anyway. My only complaint…

A good product; incomplete DIY kit

I installed it on a 2003 Honda Accord. If you plan to have this professionally installed I'll give it a 5 star rating. However, if you plan to DIY, I'll deduct 2 stars because the kit doesn't include what you need. Few instructions, no adapters included. Also plan ahead to use the included mounting knob unless your vehicle already has the same inverted U bracket. That said, you may still need to use their mounting button if yours doesn't fit perfectly (e.g. no vibration in the mirror). If you…

Dodge Journey Rear View Backup Installation

Bought this mirror and an OEM Coolint 1080i rear view camera to use on my 2012 Dodge Journey. I ordered an adapter to convert a triple mount to a U mount and the mirror was easy to install. I used a fuse tap to connect the positive red wire to the spare fuse outlet in the cabin fuse box, then I connected the negative black wire (connect the ground wire directly to the chassis ground. I connected the monitor's green trigger wire to the red wire taken from coming from the RCA video line coming…

Dual Camera Solution

I bought this mirror for my wife's 2007 Tacoma, plus a rear door handle camera AND an extra glass for the front grille. I didn't quite understand how to use both cameras, although the mirror has 2 video inputs labeled "camera" and "video". The big question was how to switch between them. So I modeled everything like a dining table with 12V power supply to simulate a truck. Here's how it works. 1) Keep the mirror always on (+12V ACC) 2) It's ok to have the rear "backup camera" always on (+12V…

Works fantastic, easy to install and improves your car's safety!

This camera works as described. I installed it with no drama. You can watch a YouTube video to learn how to remove the old one, as some Fords now have a special removal method that requires a tool, but there are videos showing how to do it with an allen wrench. Wiring and instructions are clear. I bought an Autovox camera, all connections wired and wired with no drama. I recommend you to buy a fuse tap to power the device. The camera works well, as does the auto dimming/electrochromatic…
