Easy to install and great looks

Easy to install. I have used them for ventilation in two aquarium hoods, one 3/4" wood and the other 1/4". They fit perfectly in both and they look amazing.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No power

Excellent quality deflectors that do not rust

Very strong plastic that does not rust like other deflectors because everything rusts when you live by the sea. Loved that they have a screen to keep termites from getting into the attic. Definitely recommend!

Pros
  • handy
Cons
  • I will say nothing

good for small soffit

is used in DIY shed and the overhang area of soffit is only about 3 inches, looks good. I will order more to ensure good ventilation. so that there are no mistakes, but there is additional screen material and matching blanks.

Pros
  • ideal for small house
Cons
  • exterior

The ventilation of the wooden cupboard works great

We noticed that our electronic devices hidden in the cherry cupboard got warmer inside. So my son drilled 2-2" holes in the side to increase ventilation. They covered the ugly holes perfectly and gave the closet a finished look.

Be careful not to make a hole larger than 2 inches

Black silicone to keep it in place. But it's a cool little vent. I put 4 of these in a tongue box to vent the flooded batteries. I will find more use for them.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Thin

I bought these for my UTC cabin to ventilate fresh air.

I put these vents in our UTV cockpit to let the fresh air out. Since I don't want them opening up on very cold days, I had to make some "plugs" out of rubber foam (1/2" thick) and add small "laces" so I can push them in or pull them out to prevent them they don't get too far or get lost.Overall they just fit my windshield perfectly and fit snug enough that I don't have to add glue (silicone sealant).

Pros
  • Good product for the price

also suitable for roof vents

I have used them as roof vent (sewer) covers. Debris got in and clogged the vent line (needs to be removed) - I think the debris contained both natural and some squirrel donations! This is to ensure my vents stay clean (while still letting rain through) but no pine needles and acorns. I simply slotted in my iron tubing (so the iron and plastic match), or if the tubing was too large to be 2" in diameter, I glued it to the tubing. Much cheaper than those made for this purpose and look great and…

  • Various competitors

Used them to ventilate my PC closet

I needed some small vents to get air into the closed closet where my PC and router sit on my desk. The desktop cabinet was ventilated by the manufacturer, but not adequately. The temperature in the closet was consistently in the 90 degree range and that would likely break my computer or router or both. I used four of these vents by drilling 2" holes in the underside of the table with a hole saw. Computer tower and installed in the back of the cabinet. The inside of the cabinet now stays at room

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Useless features
