I love these lights!

I've only recently discovered these lamps and cannot praise them highly enough. I do heavy mechanical work on various cars and trucks and it helps a lot. They're bright, the magnet is strong, the flashlight spins on a magnetic base, the battery lasts most of the time on a low setting, which is all you really need in the dark places you'd put up. I have two of these in total. My first is a few months old and as far as I can tell it's a harsh light. It was dropped, sprayed with chemicals and it…

I use it regularly at work!

I am a professional mechanic and have used this all the time. It is comparable to a truck light but much better than a truck light! It has charge indicators which are very handy for knowing when it's time to charge the battery. Also, the charging port feels solid and doesn't turn off after a few uses. Finally, light has two levels of light (starting at the lowest level and going to the next level), and the first is lots of light. I left this light on for several hours and it works for about 5-7

The best mechanical light for the price.

This flashlight is ideal for mechanics. The magnet is strong, it has 3 levels of brightness (I only use the lowest one) and it's the perfect size to fit in the hood, doghouse, between frame rails or fenders, you name it. I have two of these to fully illuminate my workspace when needed. And the best part is, these little things take one hell of a hit. I've dropped this light from above so many times and it works flawlessly (small body gap, that's it). In my opinion this is the best mechanical…

Excellent, bright and long-lasting work light.

Excellent work light. FYI, the lumens in the description are wrong. Apparently they are using an older version rating (800). The 810 has 720 lm high, 360 lm mid and 180 lm low. It's on the Maxxeon website. While Maxxeon claims they're completely independent from Snap-On, the similarities in design and construction suggest they're made in the same factory in China. Anyway, I love this light. It's very bright and the battery life is exceptional. The construction appears to be of good quality…

If you want great light, buy them, period!

I am a mechanic and can only recommend them. I had previous models, I like these better. The performance is great and the price is great. I used to use snap-on flashlights, which were similar but were no longer made and cost three times as much. These updated devices now have a stronger magnetic base, a third/brighter setting, and a battery life indicator on the back so you can replace them. before it just stops working. The battery life also seems to have improved. I have two models in normal…

Almost as good as the snap-on version.

These lights are very comfortable and bright, that's true. Compared to the branded snap-on version, they appear to be twice as bright and half the price. But the devil is in the details. When viewed from the side, the snap-on versions project the light forward and you can bring your face/head closer to the light without being blinded. This is useful, for example, when working under a car or under a dashboard when you cannot shine the light behind you over your shoulder. The snap-on version has…
