No vertical housing suitable for building materials

Good light except housing is short lived. I used it mainly for car repairs. I don't even remember dropping it, but now the case is broken at the hinge. The light still works. I will look for a better device.

Long term review: building materials

I have had this work light for 1.5 years. I use it every day PROS: Very bright Strong magnet Very durable case CONS: The battery is not replaceable, battery life has been greatly reduced. The Maxxeon should have swappable batteries, so if the light stops working mid-run, you can just swap out the battery and carry on. The adhesive in the magnet area is almost gone and now it's just a solid goo.

Pros
  • Good product for the price

The best flashlight time!

I have a Streamlight Flip Buddy and would wear it over this every day! The first press of the switch brings you to the minimum, as befits a flashlight. And on low, this thing puts out a lot of light. Four indicators on the back show the charging status. When it starts flashing, you have a few hours of battery charge left. It lasts two to three days before needing a charge, and the new ones come with a USB-C connector so you can charge it with all your other accessories.

My garage light!

Great Canadian light, very bright with multi level settings, I also like the no flash configuration as it makes everyday use on many of my lights unnecessarily annoying…. LOVE the 18650 x2 batteries... the extra long battery life is lightweight and the MAGNET is EXTREMELY POWERFUL, providing an exceptionally secure attachment to any metal mounting point, even on "thin" supports. I like HIGH VIS Green, it's the easiest to spot. Out of the many expensive $100 flashlights, this is the one I use…

Better than it looks

It looks cheap and questionable. When I took it out of the packaging, I was surprised. The plastic is very thick and not cheap. The lantern is heavy and durable. The stand has very strong latches so it stays in place. The magnet is strong or stronger than most magnet lights. The light itself is very bright and a good headlight. That's white light, not yellow. I trust this company with other devices they make. It doesn't feel cheap or basic at all. To update. I had the opportunity to really use…

New USB-C replacement is CRASH: Professional Auto Tech

I have been using these Cyclops lights for over 3 years now and they are my favorite flashlight. My old one broke simply because of a fragile micro USB charging port, so I bought a new one. This is the second one I've ordered and both had the same issue. When you charge it, the charging port will not work properly and will not charge unless you place it in the right place in JUUUUSSSSTTT. But that's not possible as a mechanic. It's broken. And that's a cheap design flaw. The old Micro-USB…

  • Delivery was very quick

Durable, bright and reliable.

The same manufacturer makes a slightly modified version for snap-on tools and it's much more expensive, rechargeable so you don't cost batteries. There is no dedicated charger, a cell phone charger is used. Tough enough to be dropped multiple times. I think the lens could have been recessed a bit further to avoid scratches. I think it will take drops very well. I've been looking through a bunch of NEBO flashlights and they're just junk and junk and they won't last long in an environment where…

Don't leave it charging all day

I work as a mechanic. I use these lamps every working day. I have a lot of these so when the battery runs out I paint another one to keep going. I like a small footprint. i like colors I like how strong the magnet is. I like how bright they shine. I like that the light doesn't fall apart if you drop it. I think the cost is very reasonable. These lights are not indestructible. I've dropped many of them many times over the years and some of them have cosmetic damage to the plastic casing…
